I do parkour.

I in my arrogance, attempted to train on ice :/

I jumped off a rather lage roof, rolled, got back up, ran for two meters, and fell over due to icy snow.

I also dived into a snowman that was already tipped over, face first.
It turned out to be an "ice-man" :(

I also fell off lots of walls :(

Some of you people are making me laugh with silly 20F. I live in Canada, if there isn't at least a foot of snow in the winter and it's not at least -10C...it's just not normal. Last year I had snow-banks that were literally taller than me, and I'm about 6 feet tall.

EDIT: it's currently only minus six Celsius, but it is warmer today than it has been lately.

Its still sunny here in TN, but they're calling for snow later this week. Seems like a slice of heaven before hell comes. But its so cold! I walk to my car from work and my fingertips hurt from the chill. Even with gloves.

You remind me of a friend I had in college. She's from Michigan. So whenever its gets 'cold' here in TN, like 34 degrees (laughable, I know), she would be in short sleeves and shorts while everyone else is bundled up. "Wimps" she would say.

The weather hasn't been very bad in Rochester. It's been pretty cold and snowing for the past few days, but nothing major. It's actually about time we had a proper winter here, since the past few years have been fairly mild.

Guess I shouldn't be whining about it being too cold at 60 degrees huh? Man I love Arizona :)
Are you kidding me? It's horrible out right now, you have the right to complain. I hate Arizona.
I'm just holding out until it's 100 degrees again, mmmmm toasty :)
i would die in that heat, i need a fan with spray near me 24/7

Yeah, it's just kinda funny hearing someone say that -6C(20F) is "fucking freezing" when here it's going down to -16C(3F) on Friday and that seems normal.

According to weather reports, we'll have -40C. God bless Sweden. It's good actually, I get to start saying "In your face, Al Gore."
Uhhh, guys? That's why it's called Climate Change; "Global Warming" is sooooo 1990s! (Whether the Change is caused by humans or not is irrelevant to my point).
If it's "so 1990's" how come there are articles and reports on global warming as recent as 2008???

Global Warming gives the wrong impression. A more suitable term is dramatic climate change, as global warming implies that everywhere on Earth will become hotter.

This is not true. It is predicted that if the ice in Greenland melted it would mess up the circulation of water in the ocean, turning the cool water that normally flows to England frigid cold, plunging them and portions of the USA's East Coast into an ice age. So if "global warming" is real, it will get much colder in these areas rather than hotter. All I'm trying to say is to not dismiss climate change just because it's cold outside.

On-topic: It bloody sucks. I like the snow, but not when it messes up my schedule. Apparently there is massive snowstorm that will hit my town on Friday. What fun.

He is saying the term is dated. While it's still used very often by the public, most scientists now simply speak of dramatic climate change.

YAY SNOW! =D There hasn't been snow this good in years. I'd almost forgotten the texture of a good layer of white gold. (I also break off and eat clear icicles. I love cold H2O.) Last monday, after coming home an hour late, I was so elated by the snow that I didn't even bother going in until I'd chucked a few snowballs at the wall and built a mini-snowman on the table.
