Courage, Loyalty, Generosity, Tenacity, Wisdom, Freedom, Equality, Fraternity. those are the values i consider worth the time to die for.

Nothing. I would trade no abstract idea or potentially temporary friendship for everything about me, my entire existence, being utterly destroyed. My mind, destroyed. Everything I own, quickly cannibalized. My entire consciousness forgotten within just a few years, crunched up by the grinding gears of progression, living on, twisted and altered by nostalgic family members associating me with a simpler, better time. I wish for but doubt the existence of an afterlife, and if it existed I would likely not be allowed to enter for a lack of faith.

That said, I don't have a girlfriend, so that may change if I ever got one. And sorry for being all depressing.

If you really think about it there's no point in dying for anything, as you can't assure that what you're dying for will be fulfilled (seeing as how you'll be dead and everything).

I would die for my friends and family. I would die for someone who has something to live for. I would die for the sake of the many, for even though I am a positive force for some, I am, in the end, only one.
But most of all, I would die for a kitty. That's right, a kitty. Not just a cute little kitten, either. I'd die for an old cat that nobody else would want. Why?

Him.

I'd give my life for him to be safe and happy.

Uhm and for the chosen one? Or enough innocent citizens? And possibly my family...But I do fear death so swings and roundabouts.

I'm not sure and I don't think any person here can honestly answer this question without a shred of doubt. Edit:except for immortality. That is a definite answer.

I'd give my life to live forever. Thats pretty much it.
I may, however, give my life to save other people's lives if their lives piled together are equal to or greater than the value of mine. But it has to be more than one person.

There are worse things than death.
Unbearable pain is one of them.
Lol?

I guess I'd die for someone I really care about / a fuckload of people / to do something unbelieavably awesome.

There are things I'd be willing to risk my life for, like freedom and loved ones, but there's nothing I'd be willing to straight-up give my life for, because there is nothing more valuable to me than my own life.

If I had kids and my dying would ensure their survival, then maybe (i can't say for sure, I don't have any).

The death of religion.
I'd like the death of atheism.

Or more seriously, the power to come back and haunt anybody I wanted as a ghost before going back to slumber and feast in valhalla.

To save the life of someone I care about. But nothing else is worth that kind of sacrifice.
