In all honesty, I know of Halloween's Pagan origins, and that's one of the reasons why it's my favorite holiday--it has a particularly interesting history to me. So instead of dressing in an awesome costume and getting candy I have to wear a white shirt and receive bibles... To hell with that noise. Mind you now I'm 24 so Halloween is really more about dressing up in as awesome a fashion as possible (going for full chainmail and fur cloak combo this year) and partying with my friends/watching lame horror movies.
It seems like you're under the assumption that individuals have to respect your choice in religion. No we don't. I can make fun of you for what you believe as much as I want, I can present as many alternatives to what you believe as I want and there's jack shit you can do to stop me.
If the government or an employer were trying to dictate what you were supposed to believe then you have a case. As it is, you've got a pile of rage over a bunch of boring old fundies, a group of people I found so routinely infuriating I've long since stopped getting worked up when they do something stupid or annoying.

Sorry OP but there isn't really anything about the link that is anti any religion. This group of people want to start an alternative that they can practice that they feel is closer to there religious views than what they see the standard for Halloween is. There is nothing in here trying to stop other people from following there own traditions. Many churches have events like "Fall Festivals" with candy, games, and other actives as an alternative to trick or treating and nobody seems to throw a fit because of that.

Wait a minute, how hard is it to grasp the idea of Halloween? Please. Enlighten me. Scary decorations, costumes, go door to door looking for free candy. Is that too complicated for the religious nowadays? I just don't know.
And also, if they're feeling uncomfortable about it, isn't there an option to not participate? You know, instead of trying to turn the entire holiday into some Christian nonsense? Turn off your lights. Don't put up decorations. This is not a difficult concept, in any way, shape or form.
Okay, I don't even care. I'm going to forget about this. In all likelihood, this is just going to shrivel up and die. In the meantime, I'm going to bed.
