Well, I'm not currently with anyone, but the person I would like to be with has the same views as me, and neither of us belive our views are gonna send us to hell. (We're both atheists btw)

I don't have a lack of faith, really... but if the person I was with believed I was going to burn in Hell for whatever reason, well I'd have to say "Fuck you!" and go find someone else.

If they were to constantly discuss it then yes, if they kept it to themselves then no.

Yes, because I don't date religious fanatics and I'd be worried if she started going preacher on me.

Actually I wouldn't mind so much if she were particularly fervent in her belief, provided we get angry make-up sex after.
And I like a theological argument as much as the next man.

If by that you mean to ask whether or not I'd be bothered if my girlfriend was a religious weirdo who believed all other faiths etc. were inferior to hers, then yes I would.

It'd bother me in the same way that it'd bother me if I was dating Hitler and he told me his plans for Jews.

Just because they're religious beliefs that doesn't make anyone less insane for having them.

I, well i don't think I'd be dating someone like that in the first place but if my current Militant Atheist (apparently its because religion oppresses women in all forms, very pro feminist) GF did suddenly say that to me I'd hit her repeatedly until she started seeing sense.

People have different beliefs. I say accept them and move on. If it causes you not to get in a relationship I say find someone else.

I am a Christian. I just don't preach about my religion to other people.

Yes it would bother me because I don't like religious nutcases. If you've got to the level where you start saying good people will burn in hell purely because of a lack of faith then I think you've gone a little bit overboard with your religion. I'm not completely anti-religion, just against religious extremists.

If hell exists, If the God I don't believe in forgives me for being an atheist the idea of hell annoys me a great deal, and I'd probably be joining a protest against it (imagine a protest outside of the gates of hell.) Who the hell (no pun intended) deserves to burn for all eternity? I wouldn't wish that on Hitler, and anyone who is capable of sending someone to hell should probably be taking a (short) trip there themselves, if you're willing to genuinely send someone to be in agony for millions of years you should learn a bit about what it would be like. I watched "drag me to hell" and unfortunately my fertile imagination made me imagine just what being sentenced to that would be like. Its just sick, any God who would send someone to hell doesn't deserve to be worshipped, he/she deserves to be dragged out behind the church and lynched by the moderate Gods.

As for whether I could stand a partner who thought I was going to hell... probably, as long as she didn't agree with the merciless bastard she calls a God's sentiments. Otherwise, no, I don't want to stay with someone who is capable of sending her own partner to a place of eternal torture, regardless of how evil I was... and I don't think I'm evil. If real life is the only thing that counts, I'm probably safe. If videogame kills count... ah crap I'm screwed.

I have nothing against religious people. I just can't understand the attraction to christianity and other faiths with a hell. Why would you worship a God capable of something so horrendous. When does a God's actions become questionable? That is my honest opinion.
