Would Joss Whedon work for Star Wars 7?

Joss Whedon is an awesome director, but I feel like he couldn't do a Star Wars movie. Not really his speed.

not sure who's Star Wars i'd rather see less, Whedon's or Abrams, neither are bad per-say but their styles really don't gel with the material, but i'm willing to remain cautiously optimistic for the time being
