i can think of the reverse but only for one song right now.

The Bird and the Worm by The Used. I only looked up the song because of the Clash of the Titans trailer, and the version with actual singing is awful, which is a shame because the instrumental version is epic. Instrumental version here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eE2gdpYJvh0
