I'm reducing methane emissions by eating the fucking cows.

So to answer your question: [HEADING=1]NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO[/HEADING]
agreed if anything we should be eating more cows to keep their numbers down. im not going to let a god damn burger beat me or my species, i promise you all i will hereby commit myself to devouring all swine and bovine, or build a robot to do it. this i swear!

and how come during all this global warming talk nobody talks about what the sun is going through, if anything it is going to get colder because of the unusual solar activity, we are heading into a period of a solar minimum and perhaps a little ice age. global warming won't be too much of an issue i imagine.

No, I would not stop eating meat to save the planet. Meat is to tasty, chewy and stringy. There's nothing like biting down on an almost raw piece of meat. :)

ALTHOUGH:
I'm all for the saving of animals and all that crap. That is why I propose that we stop farming and eating cattle, and change to cannibalizing some of our own, we got enough human beings to feed us all, except the ones who we eat though...

I already am, for precisely those reasons.

The only way anybody should be allowed to eat meat is if they kill the animal themselves or at least gut and cook it. See if the meal is worth it then, you manly aficionado of steak.

Going to ask for source, I mean I know that there are a lot of lifestock but I'll need sources before I can believe that it is a bigger pollution problem that planes which use gallons upon gallons of fuel for take off alone
It was taken from some science type person off of the OneShow (British Tv show) whilst they were discussing the subject, there might be a google'able source, but that's where I heard it originally.

No, it's my planet, I do whatever the hell I want with it. Honestly if it gets destroyed it would be long after my death, so I'm enjoying my time here.

then again I don't beleive in global warming.
I am so very tempted to send you about 90 page of scientific papers to you that pretty much prove it

OT: I am veggie and I think its just fine
Wouldn't much help with the news released showing that certain groups of scientists fudged their data and prevented other scientists from researching their work.
You belive this story that got leaked from the universtiy of 'trent' or where ever it was. That the world wide scientific mind would risk their career to lie and get what in return...

Also, NASA, BSU, and even the Oil geologist of America, who were the last scientific group to announce there thoughts on global warming as fictional (they then changed it 4 months later in 2001) would all lie about it? Me thinks not.

Belive it if you like, I'm not stopping you, but take it with a pinch of salt.

Even if it saved the fucking planet, I would never become a vegetarian.
I don't particularly like meat, per say, but I just hate ecology and everything connected to it and would do nothing like that.
I am quite sure that it is a great load of bullshit, though.

And which I would not read because I'm a lazy methane producing fat slob.
You know what, I want to argue with you, but you made me giggle,so I shalln't
Thank you hopefully not PeTA supporting person but still a veggy so I will be friends with for the enternity of the internets life *hugs*

How would razing cattle be more beneficial to the environment? Volcanos spew out much more CO2 than humans ever have in our time on earth.

Anyways, no, I would never become a vegetarian. I like the taste of hamburgers. Besides, the soy used for tofu these days isn't aged nearly enough to even a tenth as beneficial as it should be. I'm not a fan of the taste of many vegetables anyways, and since fresh veggies are way better for you than cooked ones, I'd be a very terrible vegetarian.

What the hell are you?

In short: No.
In long: NooooooooooooooOOOOOOOoooooooOOOOOOOoooooOOOoOoOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOooooooooo.
In even longer *inhales dramatically*: Okay, you get the point.
It looks like you're having a hard time understanding how I can be so detached from desiring meat.

I don't have much logical reason to convince me that this is the right thing to do. It's a lot simpler than what you might imagine. I do this kind of thing just to see what happens, and I'll keep at it if I like it until I find something more exciting. I find that not eating meat makes me feel light and exuberant.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck no I wouldn't become a vegetarian. You know what happens to all the cows if we stop eating them? Indians buy them, because to them cows are sacred and people are going to want money for their cows. So instead of eating them, the cows just get to live on and put more methane into the atmosphere.

And burgers taste way too good, so fuck that.

You whaaaaaaa???

No, it's okay. *sobs* [sub]You'll come around eventually[/sub]

I just had to spend a week with no meat (we're hosting this shitty party on Fri, so mum's only getting the food tomorrow as several of us have the habit of sleep eating), and all I could find was cheese. Sure, cheese is nice, but not only have I gained almost 3lbs this week (I lost 6 so far this month), I'm also SICK OF CHEESE.
Thank fuck that, when all those losers are out of my house, I can finally eat meat again...

So what your suggesting is, to save the planet, we all become vegetarians. Well, The cows are still there, and well, they're gonna breed, whether we eat em or not.

So now we have to Slaughter all the cows? Well, A significant portion of vegetarians are also PETA members and the like. So i really don't think that's going to work.

In short: No, because it wouldn't help save the planet.
In Long: Follow this to it's conclusion, basically we must extinguish all life that contributes methane gases. This is ridiculous way to "Save" the Planet.

no i would bio engineer cows to produce less methane from their waste and such. they are trying to do that right at this moment btw. or maybe we can go the cheap way and put filters on their bums that catch the methane whenever they fart, like i have on my bum.

Huh... Why should I care for future generations? What have they ever done for me?
