http://www.la-z-boy.com/product/6727-8373/Full-Reclining-Sofa/ a full reclining sofa. mMmm love those things.
But if your hell bent on getting the egg chair I really can't help you. I've only seen them in movies and the actors always seem to sit naturally in them. I would see if you can try before you buy.
Dude? My computer cost $3700, it's not a gaming chair, it's just a chair, relax mate. I'm not even sure why you're getting so annoyed. Also I'm not sure where I've complained in the thread. The Unworthy Gentleman said:$900 for a chair? Are you fucking serious? Go grab your kitchen chair and sit in that, don't be a little ***** and moan about it. If it's good enough to eat in then it's good enough to game in.
If you really can't stand it that much then walk to your local crap yard and grab the least stinky settee you can find and you're set.
900 fucking dollars, pfft.
I'm well aware of the fact that it's a replica. What is the underlying story that this tells? That I'm an idiot for thinking gamers might also be interested in design?BENZOOKA said:You're considering to buy a £500 design chair and asking for opinions on that a gaming site forum. That tells a story itself.
(Allow me to correct myself: it's actually designed by Eero Aarnio. Another Finnish renowned designer.)ResonanceSD said:I'm well aware of the fact that it's a replica. Just thought to mention it in case you didn't know.
It's just an interesting choice to ask it here, and actually it's refreshing to the thousands of ME3 (that some of us don't care one bit about) threads as well as to the reoccurring usual threads. And it creates discussion as we can see here, and it's all good. But the story I myself perceived that you're wealthy enough to consider such a purchase and then ask opinions on here, where one can't have too much weight on your conclusion, if there isn't a considerably more attractive similar product presented, as it is simply more about whether you want it or not.
Personally: it's a bold place to sit in. You're inside it, acoustics are different. I'd feel the need to sit on the edge, partly outside of it, if I were having a conversation, because it just feels unnatural. Alone, I guess it would be kinda comforting, listening to music or watching something, but that would require the room to pull your legs in too and get a strange but comfortable position. On the other hand, it's a conversation maker; on another, it's a very demanding piece to go along with other furniture and so on. Not that it matters so much, as practicality and the rule of cool go beyond things like that.

Personally I think you're foolish to spend that much money on one but I'm not about to try and talk you out of a decision you sound like you've already made.![]()
Yeah there's an option to get this upgraded with speakers. It's another $200 :\Fawxy said:Dude, get one of them sphere-chairs that has built-in speakers.
They are sooooooooooooooo awesome. I sat in one at a Sharper Image store a few years ago and it changed my life.
