Provided the UN takes command of the settlements there and not the United States, and there need to be exceedingly strict laws on sanitation, pollution control and sustainability up there so Mars STAYS CLEAN.

Yes. Colonizing other planets would solve most problems in the world.

It would be quite an adventure. Assuming that by that point they'd be accepting 42 year old men, because it's still a while off.

Well, the settlers would have to be doctors, engineers, scientists and a writer so no one could say "They should have sent a poet", I volunteer.

Man, I can't wait till we terraform the system, be so much free space and stuff.

It'd be cool with it as long as they don't bring any super-viruses back here.

I just can't wait till they terraform the Moon, it'll be an awesome sight to look at every night!
That will be quite a difficult task, creating an atmosphere on a body that has any atmosphere attempts stolen by Earth. I'll do it.

A man with a Gorillaz (If I see correctly) avatar can do anything!

Man...I didn't know that, see, this is why I failed in Physics last year. -Facepalm-

I have enough trouble getting women on Earth.

Seriously though, if they made it so that there were thousands of people there, it would be cool. But spending you life with 6-20 other people? No.

I would love to emigrate to mars, truth be told I think every sci-fi fan has that desire. Oh to bodly go where no man has gone before... the final frontier.

Unfortunately I'm no astronaut. Fact of the matter is I'm going through political science as my major and they have no use for lawyers in space. Hell, I doubt they'll have use for average civilians for a very, very longtime.

If all I had to do was eat and drink my recycled waste then I would sign up in a heart beat.

I'd hope for the society there to suit the color of the planet.

I am certain there will be ways to form an atmosphere if even an artificial one, as in we won't be able to go outside without suits. Also, yes! It is Gorillaz they are incredible.

Yeah, I guess, I mean, we just made a black hole in a lab a couple of weeks ago, so I'm sure terraforming the moon will be possible.

And yes they are, having heard about the new album I'm listening to them on my iPod now.
