I would without a second thought i think. Probably be more tender than steak and it's in much large supply. However I would only be able to if they worked out a system that allow us to eat it without the human being butchered before his time, basically I would be able to eat someone I knew was murdered.

Then again, I'm not a big meat fan anyway.

If they were poisonous it'd be kind of pointless to also taste bad. The person who'll be tasting will be dead anyway.

Animals can get a resistance to poison. In San Pedro De Atacama, Chile the water is laced with 60 times the lethal does of arsenic and they still drink it because they are immune. Tasting bad is still useful.

Fun fact: Sharks don't actually like the taste of human meat. They often take one bit and spit it out.
