Now, this is a question for bronies. Do not want to see "Noep I hate ponies why would I go?"
This is for bronies or anyone who enjoys My Little Pony.
So, as the titles says, a My Little Pony full length film is showing at your nearest movie theatre. Would you go? I personally treat My Little Pony like watching porn, no one is home. Do not want to be caught. Except T keep my pants on for MLP. So, no, I don't think I would go unless I went with a group.
To keep thing interesting, 1: Would you go if it were possible to see it on dvd/netflix/internet? 2: Would you go if somehow going to see it in the theatre will be the ONLY way to EVER see it? No matter what?

I might go to no.2, but prob not 1.
Edit 1: Yes, it will be directed by Lauren. And YES, the reviews are in and the movie has been praised by Bronies and little girls alike.

Yes, on both counts. And then I would fight anyone who disagrees. And then they would explode.

I guess I'd react in the same way as you, although if situation 2 did arise, I'd imagine the theatre screens would be packed out with bronies, with a few confused-looking parents with young daughters sat amongst them. That would be worth seeing.

That depends is Lauren Faust directing?
Is so then my my answer is no to the theater but yes to dvd/netflix/internet because I can use the excuse that I'm getting it for my little sister.

If I knew there was a large crowd of bronies going to a particular showing I might go, otherwise I'd be very content to wait for the dvd.

I might go, but only if:

1. I had money for a ticket (kinda obvious)
2. It was generation 4/ Friendship is Magic
3. It actually looked good
4. Wasn't just the TV episodes mashed into a 1-2 hour movie, a-la the Gurren Lagann or Neon Genesis Evangelion movies
5. I had the courage and balls to see it in public (not sure where I stand on that right now, but I think I'm getting to that point, slowly but surely)

I would go with any fellow fans. Or a group of fans.

Now I just need to find a Brony who lives near me...

I would go see it at the cinemas as soon as I could, then I would annoy all my friends into seeing it with me.

Then I would buy it as soon as it came out.

This required 0.0001 seconds of thinking time to determine.

I'd go, no doubt about it.

I'd gather all of my fellow bronies around and storm the theatre. Not only would it be awesome to see such a movie (Hopefully), it might be even more awesome to see the reactions of the parents with their young girls.

Well, I went to see Winnie the Pooh in theaters, so I imagine if I liked MLP, I'd go see it. If you like it, why bother trying to hide it?

I'd wait until i can watch it on the internet, it isn't something i'd like to watch in public.
