I wish "Tali" was a real name so maybe that. This doesn't have anything to do with the character in question, I just like the name.

My friend has a little girl called Eris (a cross between Iris and Erin) which I like, but I'd use the Aeris spelling.
I also like Leon and Leo.

Me and my friend have a pact that, should I have children, and should I have a boy, I must call him James, after James Sunderland in Silent Hill 2. Advantages include it not being an obvious game-character name, and that I actually genuinely like the name. Somehow, though, I can't shake off the feeling that calling him that would be a bad omen, and he'd end up committing suicide or going crazy or some shit.

Hmm, I'd have to go with Kalas, He was one of Galen's bodyguards In the original Neverwinter Nights 2 campaign. Kalas was never important in any way but i just love that name.

For a girl, maybe Neeshka, a tiefling that also hails from NWN2.

Didn't Robin Williams do this with his daughter Zelda? I don't think I'd do it to be honest as it could be another reason for the kids at school to tease him/her.

Buuuut...if I really had to choose then I'd choose something like Cloche from Ar Tonelico 2 perhaps (pronounced Clo-sh)
One of my aunts is named Zelda, but she was born before videogames were invented.

Ot I don't think I'd do that because videogame characters have either ridiculous or stupid names.

Damnit, why did that first post not work, then suddenly work >.>
Whatever.

Being able to shout that whenever your kid did something wrong would be awesome.

I've always been partial to having kids named Madness and Sparta, so you could introduce them like this:
"This is Madness" *points at kid A*
"This is Sparta" *points at kid B*
'oh how ni-' *kicks person in chest*
Be better if you could have twins named Madness and Sparta. Then wait until someone calls Sparta, Madness.

'Oh hi there madness'
'Madness?!'
*point at child*
'THIS. IS. SPARTAAA!!'
*Boot in chest*

Cats.

Lol, no, who else...

Gannondorf. Clearly this is a winner.

I can't really think of a serious name that I would name my kid after, lol.

Actually, maybe Marcus from Fire Emblem.

I've considered naming my child Thor or Odin. They aren't necessarily game character names, but the characters have appeared in games.
I smell lots of bullying for those kids ;)

OT: I suppose "Kain" would be a possible name for a child.

I would glady. Already picked out Saria. Just obscure enough that only serious gamers would realise the reference.

I would name my child Master Cheif. You would have to say Master Cheif every time to. That would get pretty freaking annoying after a while.
I think I'd be a little scared to call him for punishment. Think about it. Your going to punish Master Chief. He's not gonna be happy.

Anyway...

If it's a boy: Oliver Daniel Scott Torno

If it's a girl: Oliva Dana Sam Torno

In case you missed it, they're initals would be "ODST".
