Maryl for girl.
Bill (rest in peace or come back awesomely) for first boy.
Kaepora for the annoying little guy who will retell the older stuff he all ready knew.

If I ever had a boy it would have to be Garrus. If it was a girl it would be Hara.

Hm....

For a boy going to have to go with Sabin, or possibly Haschel, Archer is a definite canidate for either first or middle name.

For a girl, Ilya which will of course be short for Ilyasviel, and I'll get her a teddy called Berserker :D

I had an idea that if I ever have a daughter to name her Zelda.

I also had an incredibly nerdy idea for if I ever have triplet daughter (would probably never fly with whoever I get married to though): Din, Nayru, and Farore.

I don't really have boys names, unless you count the obligatory Gordon.

Not if it's abnormal, like Ryu, but maybe Gordon, Daniel, Flynn, Phillip, James maybe.
(who can guess what games these 5 characters are from. A few might have various answers.)

You know, looking at what I want to name my children and a lot of you also want to name them, i'm kinda hoping we never procreate, or our intellectual partners wear us down to the point of depression so we end up agreeing on a boring generic name such as "Joe".

On the other hand, I love unique names :D

But honestly non-game wise names, i'd probably name both kids numbers, and just random numbers at that, and perhaps make them wear shirts with their numbers on.

"Number 42, your breakfast is ready" "Number 17, your homework is incomplete"
You could compromise and name it 47

Yes I've considered it but I've not just pulled names from Video games. I've also found a name of a TV character that I like. Anyway inso far as the actual break down, if one of mine is a girl, I'll either name her Cortana(shocking I know), Ziva(NCIS), Isabella(Dead Rising), Alyx(Half Life 2) or Tali.(Mass Effect) If I find Im expecting a boy I'll name him John(after the Master Chief), Frank(Dead Rising), or Gordon(also Half Life 2) aside from those three which are rather normal I'd also contemplate passing down my name Zadok (because its unique and its got a cool meaning)

Not really. My name quirk is that I'd honestly consider giving my child a Japanese name, even though I am not of japanese decent.

Though two names I like are from a TV show, so that counts right?

Well I would like to call a son Nate. Though that has more to do with how I was almost named Nate and very little to do with the Uncharted character.

Personally, I would prefer to name children after my favourite comic book/film characters or personal historical idols.

Not after a video game character. But definitely after a book character.

Top of the list. Roland - After Roland Deschain of the Dark Tower series.

Possibly but it would have to be something that could pass as a normal name.

So in other words I'm not naming my kid Sylvannas, Sephiroth, Bayonetta or Eliphas but I wouldn't have any problems with Jaina, Rinoa, Dante or Nina
