It would be cool to play a game were getting shot in the chest and living would knock you on your butt. Modern Body armor can stop actually stop bullets.

I'd probably play one, but dunno if I'd stick with it.

Sniper all the way if I actually played though.

Yes.

I'd be an Urban sniper, and watch as the noobs say "WHAT DO YOU MEAN RESPAWN TIMER IS 1 HOUR??!! (everyone would respawn at the same time, calling it "Reinforcements".

I'd love it and hate it.

No one would be dumb enough to rambo, and everyone would be a guy behind a UAV or a sniper.
Well snipers cause the highest amount of agro and as soon as someones squad mate is killed they are going to find you and KILL YOU!

Caps is necessary
Nah, you reduce muzzle flash and they wont have a clue were you are for the first kill... once they are actually looking for you then it would be a bad idea to fire again... then again they would be in cover so they wont necessarily be looking all the time... I bet you could get 2 kills on a squad before relocating and they wouldnt find you.

Problem is, it'd be a boring game...

Too much realism isn't fun. We created video games so we can play out seemingly unreal situations and make tournaments out of them hurr

Emphasis on the realism. I mean 1 shot = 1 kill and getting shot in certain areas will do more or less damage than others etc. Not just "Get shot in the torso 6 times? Just take cover for five seconds, you'll be fine." And no dual wielding shotguns! You could also bleed to death and be incapacitated from being shot in your kevlar vest. I'm talking full on realism, would you?
... Nothing is ever 1 shot, 1 kill unless it's a head or heart shot, and even then they might survive a headshot. As for realistic injuries, no thank you.

I like my CoD4 the way it is thank you very much.
Getting shot in the arm, you bleed to death, shot in the leg; you bleed to death. The suvival rate of being shot in the head is something like 2%. Being shot in the chest and abdomen is particularly deadly, because if you don't have any organs or important bodily functions damaged; you still bleed to death. Think about the intricacies of the human machine before saying that a single bullet can't kill you.

No, I like being a super hero running around with marathon lightweight and commando killing people with nothing but knives and helicopters.

You may want to research modern battlefield medicine before making claims like that.

They make things like tourniquets and quik-clot for a reason. ;)

I know of games such as Arma and first to fight that are about as realistic as you can get. We're talking one shit kills you, bullets change their course as they go through the air and you deal with some serious wartime drama.

I would certainly give it a shot. If I like it or not would remain to be seen would have to wait after having time with it.

I'd like a realistic war game if only for the challenge, and to test my strategic abilities in combat. I think that the most realistic game I've ever played is Full Spectrum Warrior (and the sequel).
