I already have on a number of public CV's since I'm job-hunting currently, soon after I first put them up I had a couple of spam calls on my mobile but they stopped once I installed an app which you can blacklist numbers with. Of course, that's under my 'real' name so good luck finding it would-be Escapist stalkers

Now onto the actual reason for me quoting you. What app is that and more importantly, does it fully block? I can block numbers with a "blocked list" on my phone but it just sends them to voice-mail and therefore I get stuck hearing some dip-shit trying to get me to subscribe to the local paper (despite telling them about once a week that I'm not interested since I am under the age of 70 and therefore understand the internet).

the amount of gay newsletters im signed up to because my mates are real original is unbelievable. I flagged them as spam but ocassionally one still gets through.

I honestly wouldn't care if my number ended up on the internet. I never answer phone calls and if a random number texts me, it usually leads to an interesting conversation. Like a few others on this post, my fear would be receiving phallic picture messages.

I'd make up a random number and post it as mine. I mean, what are the chances that I actually gave out someone's real phone number purely by random chance? Or alternatively, my number with just one digit changed, but not telling you which one! That gives exactly the same amount of information as saying it has so and so many digits! Well slightly more, since you'd know this number would be incorrect.
