Would you rather travel with The Doctor in the Tardis, or travel with Spock on The Enterprise?

After me and my younger brother got into an argument about who would be cooler to travel with, and he said spock would.
Now I wish to hear the escapists opinions!
Blabber on, my freinds!

Ok, I don't watch either of these shows, but I think I'd rather be stuck on a starship than crammed in a phone booth with another guy (the Tardis is a phone booth, right?).

Only on the outside. It's quite a bit larger on the inside.

Definitely The Doctor for me. Space Vs. Time AND Space? No contest.

"quite a bit larger" hahaha, it has a swimming pool now. I pity you gigastrike for not knowing :/

Im with the Doctor. The Enterprise is cool, but warp speed is slow when you compare traveling through the Time Vortex. Likewise, adventure with the Doctor is so much more vast and amazing....and dangerous.

TARDIS, all of time and space. Plus it's implied that there's trips between episodes that are less stressful.

It's a Police Phone Box, an archaic concept where before radio and mobile communications they'd be on the street corners and police officers or the public could use them to call for help. The phone was actually on the outside the interior could be used as a temporary holding cell.

The TARDIS itself is a multidimensional space ship that's vastly larger on the inside than the outside, having thousands of rooms, stuff like libraries and a swimming pool. Though the erratic nature of the TARDIS does mean they move around a bit.

"crammed"....yeah its obvious you dont watch dr who

the Tardis could very well be more roomy than the enterprise

I love dr who..but never saw start trek

BUT Im going ot say I want to go with spock...he seems a little more sensible than the doctor..and I think I would have more change coming out of the whole experience in one peice..provided I dont wear a red shirt

I'd rather go with the Doctor. Not only would you be able to move around faster, but you can also travel in time, seeing things that no human has ever laid eyes on. Also, Spock is kind of a douche.

The Doctor, hands down. All of time and space? Yeah, I'll take that. I'd definitely pester him to bring us back to see some bebop players that died before their prime. Bird Lives!

I'm going to go with the Doctor on this one. Like many have said you get two for one: Time and Space. I get to see places no one has ever seen and I get to find out the mysteries that likely no one else has ever solved. Oh yes, I like that very much.

Also the Doctor really seems more like my kind of travel companion. I can imagine getting along with him really well, I even share the most recent Doctor's love of hats.

The Doctor...the only problem I see would be the fact that I'd be more than willing to kill something that was trying to get me (I'd really want one of those Dalek 'laser'/tommy gun deal, they made for thier pig slaves), but The Doctor has his whole 'no killing' deal...might be a bit of a sticking point.

The Doctor isn't really against killing, as a last resort. He's got more genocide on his hands than anyone else. His dislike of guns and other weapons I think is largely because they're always the first option to the people who wield them, rather than thinking through the problem or trying to solve things diplomatically. When the Doctor decides to wipe you out, it's because he's exhausted all other options.

Is this the one that may or may not be in the library, or is this one another one?

well see the enterprise actually takes time to get to places so there would be a lot of sitting around. The tardis travels through time. So its like an instant trip.

Id say the tardis.

If I actually had to make that choice, I'd go with Spock, just because it seems a hell of a lot safer. Male companions don't seem to have the highest life expectancy with The Doctor.

However, since this is about which is cooler, The Doctor. A little bizarre, that man, but at least I won't be bored to tears.

Doctor in the TARDIS, hands down. Faster travel, wittier banter, and an excellent exercise program. Plus I could wear whatever I wanted and the most that would ever be expected of me is, 'Run, do this when I say to, and don't blink'

Retirement benefits aren't all that good admittedly, but the ride is worth it.
