Personally I found Call of Duty Black Ops to be a great game, possibly the best in the series.
However there are many who would like to disagree, and many who would not.
The simple reason I like it so much is because, its fun.
Theres no more mindless grenade spam, quickscoping, getting sniped by a shotgun, 1/4 mile knife lunging etc.
Treyarch has fixed practically all the problems MW2 refused to fix, or rather created itself.
Among the changes and tweaks other than new content was thing pretty bad to many players.
The 'gimping' of sniper rifles.
You now have to ACTUALLY snipe rather than running up and abusing auto-aim and cutting down an entire team of dudes within a few seconds just because you have a hugely overpowered gun.
And for not so much fixing, but making it what it should be Treyarch seems to have become hated by much of the CoD community.
Which sucks seeing as they at least tried to make a decent game.
Also, irrelevant to sniping is the fact that Black Ops has been given some sucky reviews for being a good game, including one from this very website.
Of course what is good is a matter of opinion, but I ask you, my friend, would you rather a game which is void of the significant problems of its predecessor(s), or would you rather the game with those problems?
