I would. As long as the situation is readable enough to know that it would be called for. With my tenacity I could have a chance to be the incredible bastard that catches up later, limping, and get to say one of those cheesy lines like "Did you miss me... cuz they sure did."

Depends if its a fantasy or not, then id rather they not go on with out me
But if I have a gun (any gun) and tons of ammunitions then id totally tell them to go on with out me. Im not gonna die though because I'm just that damn good.

um the most I have done for a team was take a soccerball to the balls to win a game, other then that screw you I ain't doin shit unless I am already gonnae die(ie I just got shot in the gun and I jump on a grande to save my squad.
I can not answer that as I would never be found within a group in the first place. I am far too cynical and hateful to be within a group unless they were paying me, and even then I wouldn't show them any respect.
So many factors, like who's in the team? Would I survive otherwise anyway? Would they definitely survive if I did sacrifice myself?I am Omega said:

I honestly don't think I'm that selfless; I guess if I was feeling suicidal already, I might make a decision on the spot to go ahead and sacrifice myself, but otherwise I don't think I could do it. I kind of like being alive. I'd feel guilty, sure, for whoever ended up sacrificing themselves to save me, but that sure beats being dead.

There's one person I'd do it for, so if she was in the team I'd do it in a heartbeat. But I have a number of friends who are ex-military...if they were in the team and hadn't already volunteered to try and hold off the bad guy so the rest of us could escape, I'd be awfully disappointed in them as I stayed back to die. ~_~

That depends are we talking people I care about or strangers, am I highly likely to die anyway and is my death going to help achieve do something very important?
If its people I care about maybe but having never been in that situation I don't know.
If its strangers then hell no. Why would I consider some strangers life more valuable than my own? I like being alive thank you very much.

I'd probably just try to look as nonchalant as possible. It would leave a memory of me staring death in the face and saying "cool story bro."
I would certainly steal the team's thunder by taking on the big bad myself if I thought I could pull it off. Otherwise, "I never really was on your side."
