Alot of people seem to be hating on MW2 right now thanks to all the cheap perks and all that jazz and after some time with MW1 it seems alot more people are jumping back onto it. So my question is do you think that COD4 could/is making a comeback?

It never really died. But it's not "making a comeback", either.

Bah. Who cares about cheap perks? There were balance issues in CoD4, too.

It don't matter what they're using because...

In the immortal words of Johnny Gat:

"Bullets still kill muthafuckas, right?"

It costing a tenner on Steam this weekend might have helped boost the numbers a bit.

CoD 4 was always better than MW2. In my opinion. Mainly because it has much less cheap tactics and perks.

According to Xfire [http://www.xfire.com/], more game time is being recorded on CoD 4 and CoD 2 for the PC than Modern Warfare 2. Which says enough.

That being said, not everyone uses Xfire.

Mw1 never go out, it was and will always be played competitively. Since MW2 was fail in the field of dedicated servers and such.

It's a sizable chunk of the population however, and is as accurate of an insight as any as to relative popularity of games (in terms of how much they are played).
