I would make myself immortal but not anyone else(well, maybe my hedgehogs). If given the option I would share it with select people, but if it is between just me or everyone, then just me.

I'd definitely use it on myself, then I'd patent the secret and sell it to everyone else for exorbitant prices. I'm not cruel enough that I'd keep something so amazing all to myself, but I'm certainly not about to just give it to people. :p

All i would do with is dangle it in front of the death fearing masses for ridiculous prices, then when someone was ready to pay for it i would get their I.Q tested to make sure i wasn't making someone who's head is only worthy of being a door stop live forever.

I would like to say i wouldn't, just because after death i wish to reincarnated as something else and by using it i would ruin that.

'Pefection is attained, not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.'

Given immortality you have unlimited time to do whatever you want... and you could become head of your field, especially if it was history, after a millennia or so. You lived it, of course you know the details.

Granted, this is so long as it is the no aging but a bullet still kills you type of immortality. If you age, but do not die.. well.. eventually you're a monolithic heap of meat. Not my first choice, no.

Full invulnerability... Give that a pass thanks. It would suck more than a bit to be uable to die, and be even more unable to live. Invulnerability is Obvious to the nth degree.

I would use it on my self, and share it with a select few individuals, then when the time was right, bring it to a governement (most likley one i am in controle at that time) and use it to make individuals who are important to the survival of the human race immortal aswell.

I would do it, but I wouldn't share it. Living forever means I get to learn more things than I would have in my own lifetime. Instruments, languages, martial arts, just look at the things Wolverine knows. Granted, I might get bored after a few centuries, but by then there'll be new things to do. If it meant I couldn't die though...I'd have to think about that.
Also, most human are idiots and who knows what would happen if you make this kind of information public. Imagine a dictator which lives forever. Yeah..not a pretty sight.

Well if the immortality is along the lines of Baccano where live forever and can heal any injury then hell yes.

Would I share it? Maybe. But it would only be with people I trust(which is few) and I would have to make sure they are fine with it. Also save my dog no matter what.

And with my new found immortality the world will be mine.

I'd take the immortality, so long as I can share it with my GF, some close friends and maybe family, but I wouldn't share it with the world, I would think a lot of people would go mad with the power of immortality and only bad things could come from everyone having it.

Yes. Personally, I wouldn't be able to bear immortality if I had to watch everyone I ever knew die, generation after generation.

I'd only share immortality.

I would share it with only one person. That would be any future wife.. Even though I fully expect that the end result would be WW3 with me versus said wife.. But what the hell..

I would wait to use it until I was at least like 23. Then I would. I would learn to live as an immortal for awhile, then once I got tired of losing all my loved ones and friends. I would find people, befriend them, then let them know about me. Depending on their reaction and if they would want to I would give them immortality as well. And if it turns out bad with them, seal them in a coffin or something.

I wouldn't want to be immortal. I'd get so bored. My grandma died at 98, and she'd always tell me about how lonely she was. All her friends and loved ones died, and all the people she really had left were her daughters and their families.

And as for giving immortality to someone else, I'm guessing a few thousand years together would make you grow extremely tired of each other. I don't want to be in the situation where the only person who won't die away from me is a person I'm sick to death of.

It's all very sad, really.
