As per the thread title...

Im a meat eater, but this ones for the veggies out there.

How many of you would still eat meat if the only way to eat it was for it to be slain and prepared by your hand?

I think I would rather hunt and eat a wild animal than have one bred by me / for me. I believe this fits in accordance to nature's design for life.

(with the exception of vultures and other scavenger type animals)

Your thoughts?

EDIT: Hmm interesting.... The responses have given me reason to ask this question too...

Does this mean most hardcore gamers are all natural born killers?

Yes, I think it would be more rewarding to eat something I worked to catch.

EDIT: Also more cost efficient.

I am going to say that yes I would still eat meat if I had to hunt and kill it myself. With that being said, I would definitely eat less meat, simply because of the work required to obtain it.

I may have misintepreted your post but the part I bolded seems to be in contradiction to your title?

Surely the answer would be none? If they are vegetarian then they wouldn't eat meat regardless of whether they killed it or not.

Yep. I am an awesome cook, and I like to kill things, I don't see why this can't be the perfect match.
Max, I can't help but wonder If you'd extend that to humans?

Well no, but not because I think that it's disgusting or something I'm just too lazy to chase things around the woods with a shotgun.

This would require effort and cut into my gaming time, but what the hell i'd give it a shot.
Though i'd likely soon tire of animals fleeing into woodland and take up cannibalism.
