I don´t care if it is crhistmas or any other holiday. What I like is to spend the time with my family, give presents and eat good food.
My sister was born on crhistmas so that´s more special then the christmas it self.

It wouldn't bother me a bit. But as long as we're getting rid of presents, can we lose all that horrible Christmas music too? If we got rid of the bad music I might actually like Christmas.

When I was a kid - No, if there was no presents it would be a normal day but more celebrated.
Now - I don't really care much for Christmas even with presents.

I'd still love Christmas without the presents, I love the day in itself just eating tonnes of crap and chilling out all day with a christmassy feeling.

Yes, because that means that people will stop asking me what I want and I'll stop feeling like a greedy scumbag every December. Besides, I'd rather be chilling with my rarely seen family than getting free stuff...unless I get a harem for Christmas, obviously.

Bingo bango. I don't celebrate Christmas as is, avoid it as much as possible, skip the family Christmas dinner every year and usually don't even get any presents. Furthermore, I'm no longer a student and my work doesn't give holidays off, so Christmas is worth absolutely fuck all to me (okay, not entirely true. I do get paid 200% for working Christmas and New Years), but all the advertisements and decorations get on my nerves. If it were up to me, we'd call the whole thing off.

After 5 years of being far away for studies, I gotta say that I like it with or without. Seeing familiar faces is what it comes down to.

Not at all, they are the only thing that make it bearably. I don't know what it is about Christmas, but my family doesn't get together to have fun we celebrate the holiday formally which means no crazy behaviors. I see all my family at the family reunion anyways and that has no obligation on how to act so it's just getting together and partying.

Call me materialistic but I really enjoy the presents aspect. However for me, it is not the getting of gifts which I enjoy but rather giving the gifts others. I love seeing my loved ones happy when I give them presents.

Of course, because Christmas is one of the few times we four "children" (18(me),24,28,30) are together and then the family socializes, we drink Mulled Wine, play some Risk and have fun.

Hard to say, really, it would be nicer as I don't have to buy presents, but Y'now, there isn't really much else that I like about Christmas, sure it is nice to gather up and I dunno, be nice to each other, but why can't we do that all the time instead? Also, call me antisocial, but I personally don't really like it when EVERYONE has to be at the same place at the same time.

Of course I would! I tell everyone every year, "You don't have to get me anything, I promise." Yet the gifts still flood in.

I don't even have a lot of presents at my age, so I'm just using this year's Christmas as a reason to be with my little niece.

Being with her is enough for me, and seeing her unwrap all her present will be the highlight for me this year.

I fucking love Christmas.
Once you get passed your teens you don't get very many presents so that doesn't bother me.
I love the lights, the songs and the tinsel.

Everything is that little bit more cheerful for a month.

Yes.

The best part of Christmas is the feast we always prepare anyway. Mhhhm, roasted duck, do want.
