I wouldn't mind. I would even get the shot every two months. The biggest problem is side effects. It would be at least five years on the approved market before I would use it. Just to see what side effects show up. The female pill has been around for what 50 years. Plenty of time for risk assessment. It will take a long time before it is proven.

I also see this as being really practical for monogomous couples. If the dude is out hound-dogging for anything that will spread their legs for them, then it would be best to stick with condemns anyway for STD's

Yes guys would use this, especially if it will prevent paternatiy suits. I have also known women who intentionally stopped taking their BC to lock their man into them with pregnancy.
Actually, what we refer to as "the pill" has only been around since the seventies. And while I am far from being a femenist I do side with them some on the potential hazards. 5 women died during the intial testing of the pill but they were all poor minority women so who really cared about them, right? Not even one autopise was done, even though they were all young women!

Anyways, to all the men who are bitching about having a shot messing their hormones up, answer me this: why is it okay to mess around with the hormones of women and not men? I personally think that it should go both ways and both options should be available so that anyone can choose what they like.

Or perhaps leave it up to individuals? Maybe some men will ***** about their hormones being messed up, but then, there are women who feel that way too, and don't use pills for that reason. There are alternatives for both genders. It's not okay to mess around with anyone's hormones, without their approval. With their approval, go right ahead.

With women there's also the added side-effect that the same pills can be used to ease menstruation problems and PMS, while men don't suffer from that. It becomes a bit like screwing up something fully functional by adding hormones instead of adding hormones to fix something. But, like I said, there are alternatives for those more comfortable with that, while those who like this solution can take it.
