It's actually kind of awesome, from personal experience. Tomboys are cool to be around, it gets a little weird at times, almost feels like 'hanging with a bro' which can be cool but strange at the same time. Anyway from what I've seen of it, I'd recommend it. Unless you are overbearingly masculine and then her very existence and everything she stands for will seem like an attack on your sexuality...more or less. I'm going off personality btw, if the girl looked and dressed like a dude, I wouldn't want that.
