So it looks like the new patch notes for WoW 6.2 are out as of today and spoiler alert: We're fighting Archimonde again. The entire patch notes and tier previews can be seen here [http://www.mmo-champion.com/content/].

World of Warcraft Patch 6.2.0 PTR

Zone Unlocked: The Invasion of Tanaan Jungle
It's time to take the fight back to The Iron Horde in Tanaan Jungle!
Access to the zone is unlocked by constructing a Shipyard (available to characters with a level 3 Garrison). To begin your journey, report to your Garrison and accept the ?War Council? quest.
New daily quests are available in Tanaan to acquire shipyard resources and more.
Open-world questing with rare creatures and hidden treasures scattered throughout the zone.
More information will be added as development continues.

New Garrison Feature: Shipyard and Naval Missions
Shipyard
Characters with a level 3 garrison can now construct a Shipyard.
To begin the path to construct a Shipyard, report to your Garrison and accept the ?War Council? quest.
Build ships in your Shipyard and dispatch them on new Naval Missions.
More information will be added as development continues.
Naval Missions
Naval Missions are still early in development. More information will be added as it becomes available.

New Raid: Hellfire Citadel
Assault the Hellfire Citadel, mighty fortress of the Iron Horde, torn asunder by fel energies unleashed by Gul?dan, and stop the impending invasion of Azeroth!
Hellfire Citadel stands at the heart of Tanaan Jungle, where 13 deadly bosses await you, including Kilrogg Deadeye, the monstrous Gorefiend, a reanimated Mannoroth, and Archimonde himself.
Keep an eye out for more information on testing dates and times!

New Dungeon Difficulty: Mythic
Draenor Dungeons now have a new difficulty level designed to challenge even the most hardened adventurers with a befitting increase in reward. Mythic difficulty is geared towards players that enjoy tackling difficult content in smaller groups and is designed to provide an alternate progression path.
Mythic Dungeons are on a weekly lockout, and drop gear that's item level 680 with a chance for boss at the end to drop loot that's item level 700.
More information will be added as development continues.

Adventure Guide
An evolution of the Dungeon Journal, the Adventure Guide provides a wealth of information on what to see or do for the character.
More information will be added as development continues.

Legendary Ring Quest Line
Finish the Legendary Ring!
More information will be added as development continues.

So lots of interesting stuff to look forward to including a Shipyard and Naval missions for your garrison, a 13 boss tier set in Hellfire Citadel and the entire new zone Tanaan Jungle finally opening up.

The biggest of them all would have to be Timewalking. Not much is known about Timewalking besides this tweet:

Players are going crazy speculating over Timewalking and what it could be. It seems like most people think it may be similar to the FF14 Low Level Duty Finder where players can queue up for lower level dungeons, be scaled down to the appropriate level and get rewards specific to their actual level for completion. A fantastic system because new players get veterans to assist with low level content and veterans get rewards appropriate to their level AND it means they will have a chance to queue for up to 83 dungeons rather than just 8.

*Queues for Timewalker dungeon*
*It's Oculus*
*/leave*

UPDATE: It appears that people on the PTR claim that Timewalking is indeed scaling WotLK dungeons and surprise, players are reporting MAJOR dissatisfaction with their Oculus groups. Who'd have thought?

If blizzard were to introduce scaling dungeon difficulty that would be pretty huge. WOW's had over ten years of development now, the sheer volume of dungeon content that would suddenly be made relevant again to high level players is staggering. And some of those dungeons were pretty damned awesome as well, it would be nice to see them become relevant again.

I also hate how with the last few expansions dungeons became so easy. They were always considered a bit of a stepping stone towards raiding but that doesn't mean they can't also be challenging or provide worthwhile rewards. If that's something this new dungeon difficulty is aimed to try and fix I'm all for it. I've always liked dungeon runs and I have fond memories of some of the more challenging ones in the past and how it really forced a group to work together in order to win.

It looks like the Mythic Dungeons will fulfill that role. They'll offer a more challenging experience for 5 mans while acting as a catch up for gear for people getting into raiding. Mythic dungeon bosses will drop 680ilvl loot with a chance of 700ilvl loot off the final boss.

If they launched WoD with Mythic dungeons I may have played it for longer. That honestly sounds pretty damn cool.

Shaman T18 looks pretty cool. Just not on a human. Wish I could see it on a Troll so I'd get a better sense of what it would look like on my character. I still don't even have any T17 because I've been incredibly unlucky in BRF. Fucking RNG.

Man, people bitching out on Oculus runs? Fucking Pugs, that shit is the best! I wanna 100 that so badly!

...Granted I know how the god damn dragons work and solo'd it so often on Ruby/Bronze after my randoms all died back in the day, so this ain't gonna be much different. BRING IT YOU BLUE DRAGON FUCKS

Mythic Dungeons and the new raid look pretty awesome - though the Class-specific Trinkets Archimonde drop seem to be of... middling use, just looking at some of the bonuses. Why do Fury warriors get stuck with Haste, again? It's literally our worst stat! It's been that way for 5 expansions! Still, should be a fun - if long - raid, I've been pretty pleased with BRF so far (HM wasn't too bad though Imperator could go suck a lemon).

Given that we're getting the Legendary Ring and they've said before they wanted this to be a shorter raid expac then MoP (don't quote me on that, I can't remember where I saw that), I wonder if this might be the last patch for the expac? Probably not since we haven't dealt with Grom/That black dragon prince yet, but hey, never know. Stranger story things have happened in WoW before.
The trinkets are role specific, rather the effects of the trinkets are class specific. I'm pretty sure all strength can roll on one, while all agility could roll on the other and the effects would change to be specific to the character it's bound to. At least that's my understanding.

I'm pretty sure Blizzard confirmed that this expansion would only be two tiers long because it was merely intended to be a prelude of sorts for the next expansion. Assuming that's correct and that Blizz has been devoting resources to some kind of mega-expansion for the next one, it could explain why this xpac has been so dry on content.

Only time will tell!

I literally just told my friend today I'm cancelling the sub, and now I see this Mythic dungeon shit.

HNG. I love 5 man content.

Still, patch is months away. I'll cancel till I see if people like it.

The only problem I ever had with Oculus was that no one would ever stay for the whole thing. Hell, even got my Blue Drake from the chest at the end.

As long as one person knows where to go, it's not that difficult.

Although I don't play anymore, it is nice to see they are finally making some good looking sets again, sets that actually fits the class. Paladins really look like paladins, that rogue set is kinda sweet and also digging that warlock one.

But seriously now, that Death Knight helmet/headgear thing, that right there does not look right. The normal one just looks plane silly, and the mythic one is not even a helmet, it's something I'd expect to see on a caster and not a plate wearing fighter.

Well you can, there is a modelviewer option there. Just don't select troll(HD) because it seems a bit bugged, his head/face is not there =P

Oh, I didn't see that. Doesn't look too shabby on a Troll actually. Although I'll probably keep using the Kor'Kron Shaman mog set anyway.

Same. I loved hardcore raiding back in the day but I don't have the time or patience for it anymore. Super-hard 5-man content would be ideal for me.

Dungeons have always been my favorite part of WoW. Part of the reason why I enjoyed leveling alts (once 5-mans started giving fatty xp).

Fappy you need to spend a bunch of money and move your characters to my server on the off chance I come back to play WoW and want to do this stuff.

I actually still have my free 90 I haven't used.... then again I have like 150k gold on Thrall IIRC >.>

I'll keep it in mind though. At this point the only person I even talk to on Thrall is VanQ (the OP of this very thread strangely enough).

The problem with Oculus wasn't the dungeon. It was the players. Either they didn't have a clue what to do after the first boss and just stared at their screen while I tried to tell them to get on a damn bronze drake. Or they knew what they were doing and argued over which drake to get on. It's not hard to understand "Tank red, Heals green, DPS bronze" but noooo, Mlgprorouge's favourite color is red so he insists on taking that one and pulling every trash drake in sight.

It was sad to hear that you unsubbed. We didn't get a chance to group together enough, and I'm always short on a second tank for my weekend normal runs.

Sorry man :(

I just didn't really have enough time to raid on a schedule and I got really burned out on the stronghold stuff :(

Anyone else get the feeling that Blizzard is rushing through the content patches for this expansion?

I kinda wish Blizzard would start rushing, because frankly they've been getting slower and slower since WOW's release and it's a bit pathetic.

One of the reasons I stopped playing for so long and only fairly recently came back to WOW.

I remember when they were trying to convince people at Blizzcon that WoD wasn't a time travel expansion. Now they're just messing with people.
