PS you also have the option of pvp after lvl 10, however Blizzard keep changing it so much that it is very broken and most people do not enjoy it.
Whoa, what? I'd like to see your source on that statement!
I disagree, and I don't think I'm the only one to do so. And I'm one of the people that doesn't like PvP!
My source is playing the game for over a year on one of the most full EU servers and nearly everyone agreeing that all the class roles have gone in pvp as the classes have been focused to pve. Just look at paladins, rogues and dks in bg, and compare it to the roles they used to have in original or bc ( ofc dk'w did not exist, but they are still op in pvp ).

WoW is only ever fun if you're playing with friends, but I can think of other games which are considerably funner with friends than WoW.

The levelling part is the best part of the game, when you hit 80 you just start grinding the same dungeons over and over and over again.

Okay, so i tried out the trial for World of Warcraft, and i liked it considerably. I bought my 60-day subscription in town today, and i am going to play tommorow. But one thing astounds me.

Does the game get funner, or is it quest after quest? Please explain your reasonings.

Thanks :)
The leveling is pretty crap tbh. I hated it. Its not as bad now since its possible to do instances and BG's at lower level, when it really wasnt when I started. The Northrend quests (68-80 sorta level) are pretty good, but in all honesty its a game designed to be played at level 80.

Even at 80 youll find yourself obliged to do things like grind gold, but generally I found the PvE content interesting if not exactly hard.

PvP wise the game is FAR FAR FAR from balanced, and certain classes just cant achive as easily as others, making them far easier/harder to gear up. But providing you are good (and for some classes/specs I mean REALLY good) all unique spec (as in if your a DK all specs is irrelevant as they are all melee dps, by unique I mean like all 3 druid specs)can achive decent ratings.

If I had to give one piece of advice. From the word go, use your mouse to turn, WASD for forward/back and strafe left/right. And bind your moves to your keyboard dont click em. In the long run any half competent player starts from there. If you cant do those 2 things, no matter how good you get you will only be average at best

It comes in waves. But level 45 to about 53 are a drag.
I struck out at 47. Fucking hell, I just couldn't take anymore grind. So, I went to back Guild Wars (oh, delicious irony).

I'll have to disagree again. I've been playing it for a large while too, and from my point of view the majority of people who PvP still seem to enjoy it. If not, they wouldn't be doing it, right?

Yes and no.
Of course some people will like it, but some people will like anything - look at MW2. Others will merely do it out of habit. A large number of people I know who still play WoW do so because they have nothing better to do and they do not want to see all the time they have sunk into their character as being 'wasted'. Therefore for these people pvp is something in-between raiding, however this does not mean they enjoy it, it is just better then sitting around with your thumb up your bum.
