Thats really nothing new. People have been paying for Arena Ratings ever since Arenas have been a part of WoW. And before that people paid for Honor Points and PVP titles. It's the PVP version of buying gold or paying for someone to power level you.

It's probably harder work than a real job, TBH. I don't understand how anyone can reach the level cap and maintain a sociable existence.
