WoW end game question

Now this has nothing to do with the escaping wow thread but it spurted up a question. I have read a few times on these forums and others that in the end game when you reach max level where you only have heroics and PVP left that it isn't since PVP wise your playing with every one does has generally the same armor as you do. Wouldn't it make the game balanced? Since every one is equally properly equipped and every has all of their magics set up wouldn't just that make the end game pvp worth it? There is no more people complaining about twinks or any thing or being better than every one because you have a bunch of level 80 or 70 friends that runs you through every thing so you can have the best gear at every level. I am not at that point yet but why dislike pvp for that reason?

There are different kinds of armour for different specs of different classes and so on...

An unholy priest wouldn't wear the same armour as a holy priest, or a warrior at that. And then there's getting the armour...

It's not as simple as just getting it at all.

No it doesn't make it balanced. there's the end game instances, the heroics of said instances, and raids. each one gives better gear with which to wtfpwn others who do not have time to raid or even do an instance (if you don't know, raids take upwards of two hours to defeat maybe one of about 6 bosses, instances take usually less than two hours to complete the whole thing). The people with more time have better gear, and the ones who don't get beaten by those in superior gear. Those with entire Deadly Gladiator or Tier 7 will usually beat someone in heroic epics, and definitly if someone is in blues (hopefully you know what that means). There aren't anymore twinks, just people with more time and better gear.

If pvp ever was fair, it would be in level 1, of every game, because then nobody could say it's because of gear or anything ability related(ability reffering to the character being played) you would only be able to win by skill, thus balancing the whole thing. Now you may say that would not be fair for classes like mage or for that matter anyone but warrior and you may be right but then again which roles do the other classes have, i mean a ranged DPS soloing a Melee DPS could never win if the melee came in close range and that's how it should be.

Further complicating the issues is the occasional bad equipment design. The (4) set bonus of the PvP sets in particular can range anywhere from awesome to useless, and the various item budget distributions could range anywhere from well made to awful.

While this isn't the best example, I recall that as a Ret Paladin my PvP gear was actually better for raiding in than the raid sets. The crit rating was better, the stats were better chosen, and even with part of the budget spent on resilience, I still favored my PvP armor. Even then, resilience isn't 100% useless to a raider: the slowing of bleeds and mana loss is nice, particularly to somebody without much of a mana pool. It also meant random melee cleaves and such couldn't crit me...

The above example demonstrates that sometimes item design is just plain bad. It's entirely possible for this to work in the other direction, with one class/spec combo receiving a REALLY bad hand from the item designers.
