Hi, im thinking of starting a WoW gameplay series to occupy myself with this holiday season, and i would like suggestions as to what Race/Class i should play.

I have no preference to whether its Alliance or Horde.
as for classes all i know is that i dont want to play Warrior, i tried having a warrior character once and i found it quite boring.

So, Fellow escapist users, what Race/Class combination should i play?

I dislike WoW, but if you are going to play, go Alliance. Too many "Cool kids" on the Horde side.

But there are too many children on Alliance... Maybe this is why I left.

Troll Shaman, Priest, or Mage. Only because Trolls were my favorite caster class back when I played. Shaman was my personal favorite.

Wait, when you say gameplay series, do you mean recording yourself playing to post online, or just to play by yourself?

well..........if you dont want warrior (the hell are they boring???) then id say shaman cause my enhancement shaman is frickin bad ass (for a level 20 anyway (curse you level 20 cap)) and yeah shamans are fun (never played the other 2 talent trees so cant say if theyre good or not)

Well I enjoyed playing Druid and Paladin on the horde side and got up to lvl 25 on the druid and lvl 30 on my palay before I stopped playing. I mostly suggest the Druid as their quests were fun and singing the "I'm a bear" song ingame was probably the highlight of the day for the players I raided with. Though now that I think about the Blood Elf quests were fun too...

Ahh in that case, you've got to choose something that will actually be interesting for others to watch. So things like, Warrior, Rogue, Priest (unless you go Shadow) and Warlock, probably shouldn't be picked.

I would say go with something like....Shaman, Mage or....Hunter. They seem like the kind of classes that would be fun to watch.

Also could you post or PM me the link that you will post to videos on? Because i might watch.

I think a druid or mage would be fun to watch someone play, if only because druids get so many forms to play around with and are very versatile role-wise (if you're willing to collect multiple gear-sets anyway), and mages get a crapton of silly utilities like polymorph and teleportation. Just don't play an arcane mage.

Mage sounds fun, i havent made a Mage yet, so it will be a learning experience . when i do start recording im not sure whether to do commentary or not, IMO WoW has enough variety in sounds and stuff that it will be enjoyable to watch even if there is comentary.

Anyway, Dwarf Paladin was my preference.

Yeah, but atleast from what ive seen, Minecraft is more popular on youtube ATM and i dont have the imagination to make a decent LP for it
