Wow. I can't imagine that. I've been barely able to play a game for more then half an hour nowadays.

You shouldn't feel bad. I played an MMO for over 500 hours in four weeks. That makes about 125 hours a week.

If I count the hours I am on my laptop or PC every day. Well let's say about 18 hours if I have to work and 14 hours if I don't have to work.

In nearly every game I have ever played I have logged at least 100+ hours.

Last night i played mount and blade till 2 in the morning, then the best part of today, and all of friday.... you think you have problems...
I know what you are talking about so much.
My guy is lvl 32 and called Ioxles the Barbarian
I conquered Pravan and Dhirim(I think its called that)and had them given to me by my king and have all but single handedly killed off the Kingdom of Vageirs.
I think my guys aroubd 26 now and im struggling, i joined Swadia as they have good raiding positions and seemed a good faction. They were, until they decided that fighting the Rohdoks was too easy and declared war on the veigers and Nords at the same time. Now whenever i ask how the war is going they say badly and i reply "Bit off more than you can chew?"
I just got my only castle asssultd by 700+ strong army of Rhodoks. So i think ill be losing my men, i had 2 lords garrisoned in there godamit!

We've all been there.
I'm amazed that I can still rack up 4 hours a night gaming time when I have to see my girlfriend, do coursework, sleep.

Its what makes us who we are, our dedication to fixing the wrongs of digital worlds.
Or something equally poetic.

Enjoy it while you can.
Yeah. It ends when:

a) you go back to school.
b) you get a job.
c) you are out of money and have to do something to get it.
d) your family calls 911 and tells you are mental or something.
e) you lose all friends and alienate people (hehehe), so when you are 40-50 you die alone, unloved and smelly in your single apartment and nobody will be there to make sure you have a decent funeral.

Yeah, I went nuts with e), but you get the idea.
That was very depressing.

I just recently looked at my steam account and apparently i hit almost 80 hours of play time in the 2 weeks. . . Im not sure how obsessive it really looks like, but its kind of scary when i think that i actually played for that long.
It's ok.

I've done about 30 times that over my lifetime, odds are.

At my peak, I probably hit 70 hours a week. Tribes had launched, it was summer and I was not yet forced into the workplace. I've never found a game since that I could tolerate for such extreme lengths of time. Sins of a Solar Empire greatly annoys me precisely BECAUSE it takes so long to win a match. Small maps offer few strategic options. Large maps can literally take days to complete. In either case, you eventually reach a point at which it becomes obvious that you're going to win and yet even with overwheliming force it takes hours to pin down the enemy and finish them off. Recently, having reached just such a point I decided to simply foritfy my frontlines (there were a handful of convenient chokepoints) and leave the game running while I ran some errands. Then I came back and built numerous batteries of novalith cannons, set to autofire and left again. By the time I came back, my campaign of genocide was complete. The game ran for a total of 10 hours.

In the past 24 hours I have spent six sleeping, a few watching n' hanging, and fourteen playing Fallout 3.
That is a respectable schedule. Mine would be similar if not for school. Fallout 3's addiction rating is roughly equivalent to Jet or Psycho, but it increases exponentially over prolonged periods of time.
i have prety much completed it i have all the special wepons done all the quests but i still go on it and mini nuke some people *sigh* good times
