Hello Escapees,

A few hours ago me and a friend completed the game Obscure 2, we were watching the credits, in the hope that there was something after them, and there it was; a cutscene.
We watched through the whole cutscene, and when it was finished we where ready to turn the PS2 off ... but what was that?! - the game shifted back to the gameplay point of view and an extra chapter (with an half hour of gameplay) started! :O

- So the game Obscure 2 has an extra chapter which is only available if you watch through the credtis, and i was wondering if you've ever seen something in a game that you've never seen in any other game before?

TLDR; have you ever seen something in a game that you've never seen in another game before?

well, back when "Kill.Switch" came out, it was the first time i could actually take cover and blindfire- which was something NO game at the time let anyone do. i loved that.

Sniper Elite was great because i never had to account for gravity or wind when shooting, AND then i got to see my shot in action! awesome.

and also the first Hitman game i got, i thought it was pretty cool how many clever things 47 could do.

OH and Bushido Blade 2 was awesome because it was the only sword fighting game series where you could actually get 1-hit kills.

I'm still trying to find copies of Bushido Blade and Bushido Blade 2 for reasonable prices. Rather disappointed that nobody has jumped on it since then, although MGS Rising might revive some interest.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent has one of those after-credits endings you mentioned, if you reach the "best" ending, in which after the credits you resolve the issue with the final Red Mercury device. I rather liked that little bit.

Good man OP. I love the Obscure games.

You've actually taken my answer though, so damn you at the same time.

A mascot character wearing a bikini on his head...
If I say more, then its spoilers, but lets just say it makes me die a little inside.

Yes, Squeenix has officially scarred me for life.

The marine's death in CoD4 was the first time I had played through the permanent death of a character.

Hurr hurr hurr, the flesh pound sounded kind of like he said "Beer me!"

That would be a gaming first for me. o-o

Portal successfully made me laugh every single time, something few games have ever made me do. Does That Count?

I've seen train-based missions, or missions involving trains, sure, but in Alan Wake just now it was the first time I've ever been attacked BY THE TRAIN.

Pretty much every level in every Katamari game is a case of "What the fuck is this?!" Just a few minutes ago I watched my little brother roll up a cash register...in space. Yeeeaaaah.

Come to think of it, the whole concept of Katamari is something I've never seen before.
