Sigh, I was hoping they would finally start cracking down on all those WoW players.
Them and their CS counterparts.

First of all, anyone being arrested has the right to know what they're being charged for. It's illegal to withhold that information. I learned THAT much from 8th grade Civics.
Apart from that. Sure this guy seems batshit insane but the police have no right to hold him to the ground and then taser him when they didn't even tell him why he's being arrested.
so yeah, make fun of me for taking this seriously. :X
Well, they explicitly say that there's a warrant for his arrest...and the way the man says "For what? For changing my name! Look it up!" at the beginning leads me to believe that he already fully knows why he's being arrested.

I think the cops were being really lenient in this case. They could've done worse. He was resisting arrest so they tasered him. If he'd just gone quietly (and didn't add resisting arrest and evasion to his charges) things would've gone much more smoothly. o:

Wait... He said Yahweh! He spake the true name of God! I'm melting!
All hail Yahweh
Not to offend, but who or what's a Yahweh?
Yahweh, I'm pretty sure, is the Jewish term for Messiah.
Yahweh is a collection of Hebrew syllables that indicates the Christian and Jewish God. I'm not sure, but I believe it is the plural of "gods" (plural of a plural; weird).

This.
The video happens to be hosted on College Humor. It isn't a 'College Humor Original'. It's on multiple video-sharing sites. College Humor isn't just sketches 'n such. They have a ton of different real and amateur videos too. >.>

They told him they had a warrant for his arrest, but he ignored it. They dont have to repeat information once its been given.

that was amazing. When he mentioned the witch queens, i smiled a bit. Then he started shouting "YAWEH!!!11ONEONEELEVENONE11!1!" over and over, and that got a pretty big grin. Then he started singing and i just lost it. And by the time he shouted something about being illegally tazered, flew off the hinge, and started running down the road, i thought there was a chance i wasnt going to be able to inhale again.

I didn't watch the whole thing but it looks sort of fake to me. First of all, the cops tasered him for no reason. He wasn't posing any sort of threat, and with two of them there they could have easily just picked him up if they wanted to. It's not like he was a particularly big guy. Not to mention they *accidentally* let him go. I would hope cops usually have a better grip than that.

And who the hell is videotaping it?

There have been people who were actually able to have charges against them dropped because they were not read their rights and what they were being arrested for. So, yeah...

He was resisting arrest. In that situation the safest way to subdue him would be to use the taser. Using a taser is generally a much safer option for detaining beligerent people. It has a much, much lower risk of injuring someone than physically throwing him around.

They were lenient in the fact that they didn't actually deploy the taser. They lit up the electrical arc and used it like a normal stungun. If they'd actually fired the taser into him he probably wouldn't have been able to get away though.

Nothing's gonna be dropped on him now. Evading police...not a good idea.
