Do you have a lot of free time? Do you have some spare cash? Computer can run it? Like grinding? If you answer yes to these, then you might as well give it a shot. Do they offer any kind of discount for the first month, like a try before you buy?

I played the trial myself and wasn't that impressed by the gameplay. Despite that my friend encouraged me to try the game and loaned me his account.

So of course i gave it a decent chance, and once you get over the controls and get used to the game i found it to be a brilliant game.

Of course i had to start about seven characters, if you don't like the class you play the game is a lot more annoying to play.

Shame I don't have any games to play after the 5 minutes it takes for me to grow bored of that
sony/playstation: awsome graphics nice shooters by the way
Yupp, the defining aspect of the Playstation is its shooters, because it has the most superior shooter-games ever. Except the fact that most of their shooters are cross-platform...
microsoft/Xbox & pc: wow cool L4D(2), fallout,.... great games
Fallout, the greatest Xbox exclusive ever. Wait a minute...
plus they all have guitar hero.
Yay, now everyone can share the same library of shitty songs!

World of Warcraft is great for those who play with real life mates.
For example, if enough of them play, make a guild, get to 80 and RAID!
It's pretty sick when you finally get to 80 for the first time, but you will also realize that you've wasted about a weeks worth of your life!
haha!

You've seen where your avatar comes from haven't you.

That is basically my answer, especially when someone says there is a high risk they will become addicted. I'm lucky enough not to get addicted to stuff easily and after getting to level 40 twice in WoW became very bored.

I'm going to pick it up with the new expansion as plans to make the lower levels as good as the new 60+ content, so hopefully quests won't be as fucking boring until you get to Outlands.

Plus I want to be a warewolf. Till then, WoW is still shit.

Yeah I played the trial for a few hours and thought "This is it? THIS is World of Warcraft?" I then switched it off and played Demon's Souls.

I did a similar thing when my mates started getting into WoW. After the demo I thought it was okay, but could see it getting a little samey. My advice would be this: If you buy WoW, you're going to be paying to play the same game in a variety of different backgrounds with a slight difficulty curve as you go (basically everything you've been doing already but the enemies look like they could actually hold themselves in a fight.)

Think about that and decide whether or not you think you should commit to that sort of game. I chose to instead play a variety of shorter games, next of which on the list is "The Orange Box."
