Wow, this has to be one of the worst advertisements ever. (WoW related)

So this girl, first is bitchy because her boyfriend won't give her freaking DIAMONDS (In this economy? Seriously?), and then says 'I'll play the game anyway'. Then she casually mentions how her boyfriend says she loves it more than him, she agrees, so she dumps him.

The worst part? The boyfriend probably got it for her because it was something he enjoyed...So he wanted to share his enjoyment with her. She throws it in his face by saying "I WANTED DIAMONDS", and then takes it and plays the game anyway.

Then when she finds she *loves* the game, she doesn't thank her boyfriend for showing it/giving it to her, she tells him to fuck off because she enjoys her game more than being with him.

How....is this supposed to make me want to try WoW again? Its just implying that people who play WoW are complete pricks. (Not saying they are, simply saying that this is what the commercial implies.)

The same reason those Skittles commercials make me want to go get Skittles. What does a kid being forced to sit there and "tree" out Skittles have to do with Skittles? Absolutely nothing but I think it's funny so I'll consider it.

Thats not the point here, the point is that they are blatantly saying "Don't get your girlfriends interested in WoW, they'll dump you!"

They could have done another actor one. Those were even somewhat amusing to me, silly as they were. This is just trying to say "Hey! Look! This ***** over here dumped her boyfriend because she found she liked the game he got her, more than she liked him! BUY OUR GAME!"

You know, had they done the guitar feedback instead of a bleep, I would have caught on to that. I loved SPvW (mildly unhealthy level...) and I didn't recognize her (though now that it's pointed out, I can't believe I didn't).

I've seen Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, but a pretty much one shot character that nobody bothers to remember being the basis of a commercial where she proves she's the biggest ***** since Clifford the big red dog got a sex change operation, (His name's now Callie)is one of the *dumbest* things I have ever seen.

And it still doesn't change the fact that it implies that she's a ***** who dumps her boyfriend after he gives her something she fucking loves!

i didnt see anying about what the boyfriend was like. so maybe he was a nt douche and wow is a better timewaster than a douche.

THing is, if he *gave* it to her, that sort of signifies he actually gave a shit. And she doesn't say "I dumped him because he was a jackass." she says "I dumped him because he got me a game I loved, and he was distracting me from it."

In Denmark they have this fundamentalist conspiracy theorist Chuck Norris who promotes those vaccine conspiracies that have left thousands of children dead because of rumours relating it to autism promote it.

So yes, WoW supports murdering children, I don't think I can support that.
