Wreck-it-Ralph 2's plot is not looking good. (Possible spoilers)

This doesn't sound nearly as interesting as the first one. Wreck-it Ralph is one of those movies that doesn't need a sequel, but is apparently going to get one anyway because... money. The first one was about Ralph's journey of self-discovery, this one sounds like Ralph's journey of... nothing. This just sounds hollow compared to the first one.

The marketing for the first one made it seem as though all these classic video game characters would be massive parts of the film, putting them side to side with Ralph as though they were going to be his sidekicks or rag-tag team of misfits or something. And then they turned out to be mainly just cameos, or bit-players in single scenes at best. I'm assuming this is going to be the same, with the marketing going "Hey look its Iron Man! You all know and love Iron Man from those other films we do!" but then in the film he just flies on by in the background. If I had to guess I'd say the Disney Princesses might end up as Vanellope's equivalent to Ralph's bad-guy support group, just extras for a single scene

I heard about the Disney Princesses scene. And from what I heard, it sounds hilarious. It also sounded like it was just going to be a single scene, and that they're not going to be flooding the entire movie.

Also the idea of seeing the classical Disney Princesses like Snow White and Ariel in 3D CGI is gonna feel SO weird. Especially giving them realistic skin and hair.

Are they going to be realistic skin and hair though? Lots of characters in the first movie didn't had that. Besides, the Kingdom Hearts series has already done the CGI Disney Princesses and looked pretty good.

Because it was obvious that it was gonna be bad the Emoji Movie and I still think the overreaction to it is silly, I mean the movie got 0% on Rotten Tommatoes at one point. (Currently 6%)

And regarding how they looked in Kingdom Hearts, that is all style. The charcater models in Kingdom Hearts have this, not so much cel-shading, but very simplistic textures on the character models and in the case of the Disney characters looks like they are straight up the 2D images just made 3D.

I'm not sure you understand.
You see, calling a bad movie that was chasing a fad a bad movie is a very bad and you're clearly overreacting.
But making snap judgements on a film that's not coming out for over a year based on a three sentence summary and a screenshot is just common sense. Just like how Batman vs Superman was clearly going to be a great film because it's the start of the Justice League and how the World of Warcraft movie is going to be this great Fantasy Epic cos, god, have you seen the Wrath of the Lich King cinematics?

Surprise surprise, when you spend week-after-week thread-after-thread post-after-post essentially ignoring other people's criticisms and basically saying you don't care if a movie's bad if you're worried the backlash will prevent a supposedly better movie coming out people don't tend to forget that. Nor do they forget when you then suddenly 180 when you have to concede that maybe the film was bad and then spend post after post going on about how, for example, the director was clearly an incompetent hack or how Batman is totally overrated.

And I have yet to be convinced that there's anything special about the backlash to the Emoji movie that hasn't been seen with any other movie (Like, say, the Ghostbusters reboot or any of the other memetically bad movies like Foodfight) that's been review-bombed by idiots for whatever nonsense reason they contrived. If I remember correctly even in the thread discussing the backlash to the Emoji movie you only really presented one Z-tier Youtuber or some such as the example of the hyperbolic naysayers.

But than the more I thought the more I realized it was beyond saving because of what happened in the movie made no sense to what happened in the actual lore and may make the second movie's story worse

Where you allege that there's some great uproar over the movie, don't present any actual proof of said uproar and then ignore people's criticisms of it with "but can't you see there are other bad movies" as if anyone said otherwise.
My mistake about the Youtuber accusation though, sorry.
Although I do disagree that Warcrafts problems stem solely from the production team, but that's a separate thread and I've already gone off topic here.
