A shivering wind,
A skeletal grin,
A prickly pin,
And elven kin.
These words grow faint
With a vintage taint;
Old concepts now quaint
Like an old coat of paint.

The purpose of this is to emphasize how some terms are way overused.

I have a friend named Rick
He is shaped like a big fat stick
If you are a lady, will you please lick
Make him excited he'll show you a trick
I know it helps him if you use some spit
just nothing gross, that will make him sick
Cuz Rick is important to me, cuz Rick is my Dick

That's a beautiful metaphor for self discovery of gender identity and sexuality. You are very brave to post that here.

This is interesting as I usually make a beginning of a poem in my head, but don't finish it or ever come back to it, so I shall actually complete one this time (although I am tired out of my mind so I wouldn't expect anything special)

Friends are there through thick and thin,
Never hesitating and always fair.
They never thrown you in the bin,
Only hold you with great care.
You are never alone so long as there is one,
Even if they are not around.
A friend can always help even if you run,
They will follow you no matter the bound.
A true friend is many things,
But one doesn't leave
Reguardles of what life brings.
They pull you on your feet with a loving heave.

I've been working on this poem for a while and I'm not ready to show the whole thing.

Ancient powers that hold great might
And over time have granted me insight
Throught the dreams that I've seen and felt
Like the end of winter, ice begins to melt

Madness comes, and madness goes
Like how branches move when winds blows
Through the images that I have seen
I see how things will come to be

There are creatures that I cannot define
Abominations that should not exist in any time
I always seen these horrors within my dreams
But are always viewed theough a veil of silver sheen.

That is only a few lines from my poem.

There once was a student called max,
who was finding it hard to relax,
because he turned his head,
and saw by his bed,
a madman armed with a pickaxe

There once was a woman called Sue,
who saw 50 bucks down a loo,
she grabbed for the cash,
and cried out "Alas!
my arm is all covered in poo!"

There once was a person called Jim,
who was at a church singing a hymn.
he thought "I'm so bored,
I wish I was a Nord,
so it could be like in Skyrim"
