In the process of writing... well, vampires are a subject. Not sparkly vampires.

Just another twist on the gimmick of what vampires are weakened by. Vampires are weakened by what they had an aversion too in life (allergic to garlic, weakened by garlic, sun, etc).

One of the side characters is a vampire and had a wool allergy in life, so he doesn't wear clothes and avoids people in an ancient forest. Because he thinks it's the 1500's from his extended seclusion, he doesn't know cotton or polyester exists, and doesn't eat people because he thinks they have wool clothes.
Hah! I like that. It has the right balance of bizarre and believable. Very Discworldly (and that is a GOOD thing)
Agreed. That is a fascinating take on vampire lore. Kudos.

I have quite a few characters I have made (Between stories and games)

My favorite RPG game character I made was for the pen and paper RPG Shadowrun, he is named Maxwell Royce, with the alias 'Xirtan'. He is a mental assylum escapee that is so immensely insane that his insanity doubles over onto itself so that he is a genius. He is an assassin that works with his brother named 'Adrian' who is a schizophrenic hacker who gets some amount of clairvoyance from listening to the voices in his head.

My favorite character in a story I thought up would have to be Mel.
His name is short for Meltdrone571, he is a learning robot made out of a black liquid that can take any shape. The cool thing about Mel is that he is a learning robot, and he starts the story with no way to form coherent thoughts or even identify and make sense of his surroundings. The cool thing about the character is that since the story takes place in first person, you can see him grow and learn,as he becomes less of a robot, and more of a living being. It was more of a concept, I tried writing it but I just couldn't do the character justice. I pretty much dropped the story but I liked the character ever since I doodled him on my notes in Civics.
Thats some pretty good stuff man! I especially like reading about other peoples RP chars!

I have a few good characters if I do say so myself. I usually write comedies, but that's not to say the main character isn't fleshed out pretty well.

One is Greg Mcgreggory, who grew up on a farm with his family. He was an only child, so instead of playing with other children as a child, he would play in the chicken coop with the chickens. This where his life was changed forever. Because as he was playing with the chickens ever so innocently, he saw her. Helen, the most beautiful hen he ad ever seen. Greg was madly in love.

When Greg's father found out his son was infatuated with a chicken, you can imagine his reaction. He needed to get his son out of this crazy forbidden love. So he cooked up Helen the next day and made his son eat her. Soon after this experience, Greg wasn't seen at the farm again, he'd run away to the city, to defend the rights of poultry and all other meats as well. Soon he became known as the Chicken-man. Too bad no one else cares.

Anne van Keiton.

An excentric 25-year-old who in all honesty is not so much excentric as mentally ill. Tattooed her entire face white like a geisha just 'cause, is convinced that a pretty big part of the world's population consists of what she calls "minions of evil", that is, people who look normal but are really androids or demons out to get her (please note: She lives in the real world, these "minions of evil" are creations of her delusional mind), and doesn't even have the sense to be concerned about this (although she is a bit concerned). Her best friend is a bisexual woman named Reigne, who spent her childhood traveling around the USA with her mother. Now, Anne and Reigne travel the US together with no particular goal in mind other than seeing it.

Ivan Orlov (27) - Russian, moved to England with his older sister Motya (33) when he was 14. Is now a web designer. Has OCD. It's fun to throw Ivan at situations and see what he does. How would Ivan make tea? How would Ivan deal with a carpet which had the wrong pattern?

Claire (25) and Lars (????) - An enthusiastic environmentalist who works as a clerical assistant at a local hospital and whose old bicycle (left to her by her mother and her mother before her and so on) is made of girders and could probably stop a train, and the pot-smoking zombie who crashes at her flat watching TV all day who could also stop a train. Together, they fight crime.
