Today I bought a Diplomat fountain pen, and I was curious what people here prefer to use for writting.

Edit: I wanted to add a poll, but I accidentally hit enter and I've no idea where to add it. Any help?

You care for these kind of things?

I really don't pay attention to what I'm writing with, usually just a cheap pen or pencil.

Actually, I do care. I'm so used to using a fountain pen, that writing with a ballpoint pen feels weird and my writting looks messed up (not as pretty as when using a fountain pen).

Scribes, since my writing is well it's not words, it's a mess
This. My writing has been compared to a doctor's prescription writing or the non-euclidean Cthulhlian scrawl of the damned. When I do write, I prefer a nice gel pen. I hate pencils.

An old fashioned pen. I love using them. Requiers no pressure at all.

I have a couple of cool gel ink pens with special erasers on the end that can rub the ink out if need be. Gimmicky but sometimes very handy.

I'm a pen person, I enjoy scribbling in poor quality pens, they seem smoother, but expensive pens for essays and the like. There sharper and seem neater. I also enjoy myself a good multi-colour pen. But scientific diagrams seem more scientific in pencil. It also has to be barely legible. Its smarter that way.

I'm far better at writing with a pencil than a pen. I think it has something to do with the pressure involved, I can glide far more easily with a pencil. This is important, as for the most part my fine motor skills are horrid.

I've noticed that most left-handed people tend to have messy handwriting.

At least yours can be read

A nice Parker fountain pen :p
I wanted to buy a Parker fountain pen as well, but confused a ballpoint pen with a fountain pen and had to buy a Diplomat, as the Parker pens were too expensive.

You have noticed well. I write horribly, however, my writing is well organised which makes it easier to read.
