WRPG and JRPG ?

So are there people who play both Wrpg's and Jrpg's ?
They seem very exclucive to their respective demographics.

I play both personally. They each have heir saving graces, and I spend quite a bit of time in each. I do detest mmorpgs though -_-

My favorite game of all time is Oblivion (WRPG), with number 2 being Legend of Mana (JRPG).

And 3 being Chrono Cross (JRPG).

I'm not sure they actually are. I'd guess half of these "WRPG fans" just have only played Fallout 3 and Mass Effect and they appealed to them because they are much closer to shooters.

Or then not, but regardless, idiots/haters/trolls just are the most vocal ones...

Or then not, I don't actually have hope in humanity...

I give every JRPG a new chance, after all, I think CT is the second best game ever made.

I prefer a good WRPG though.
But I do stiull like to play a Final Fantasy game now and then.

I play WRPGs that aren't set in olden times (fuck orcs... seriously) like the fallout series, mass effect, etc, but I mostly stick to JRPGs and SRPGs when I seek to play a role.

I don't think I've ever played a JRPG (played a demo of an old final fantasy, didn't like it). So I don't comment on them.

i actually oved JRPGs untill i played a WRPG because it allowed me to customize my char and when i got back to JRPGs it seemed too straightforward for me

My favourite games are Morrowind, Oblivion, Final Fantasy 7-10 and Lost Odyssey.

WRPG's and JRPG's are both amazing but I prefer the J's.

Yep, I play both, I like a good story. Stuff like the Fallout Games, Baldur's Gate, DA:O, ME series etc, and then on the other hand stuff like FF7, ChronoTrigger, Tales of Symphonia, Zelda(if you count that,its more of an adventure game).

If it tells a good story, I'll play it.
