It's only annoying because the informal usage defeats the purpose. Using literally without literally meaning literally literally removes the purpose of the word and puts it in the realm of other words for emphasis like "like" or "seriously". The whole point of the word was to not exaggerate. I saw the trailer a while ago and I'm incredibly excited.

As for the movie itself, funny stuff. Looking forward to it. It looks like one of those things that are so stupid but in the best possible way. Hardly the most unique plot, but it's fun to sit back and enjoy something every now and again.
