@OP do you hear yourself? It used to be awesome but now they added things like fake prepubescent nudity and I will never watch it again.

I used to love digimon and even preferred it to pokemon.

Heh. I used to love that show, but I suppose it just ended, like most things do. It doesn't matter which came first, it could never compete with Pokemon.
Also, a friend of mine (well, more of an acquaintance actually) states without a hint of irony that the Digimon film is the best he's ever seen. It's quite a sobering realisation that caused me to look back at my childhood and realise that I used to watch total crap.
Except Captain Simian, of courst. That was an amazing kids' show.

::Shrug:: Personally, season four was my favorite. Skipped season 3 completely. And on occasion, I catch an episode of Data Squad when I have a TV with extended cable.Gerazzi said:

Man, I loved that show! I guess I just caught all the episodes from it in their proper order from the beginning, and I could never do that with Pokemon. The thing is, I thought that the first season was great (looking back, I haven't seen it in a while), but when the digimon evolved to their second stage and stayed there, I didn't like it. It jumped the shark (thought I wasn't aware of the phrase at that time).
Of course, I might have just liked the show because the main character has a FUCKING TYRANNOSAURUS REX instead of a weird little electric rat-creature.
EDIT: Okay, I was referencing the second time they evolved. Also, did anyone else think that it was amusing that there was one named Tentomon?
