Actually, Here's something I thought of while thinking about your Snorlax comment. How does my EV trained level 100 dragonite's hyper beam not completely kill a caterpie? or for that mater, how does any fire attack not inflict massive burns when it hits, potentially killing the pokemon? Or in more recent generations, how high are pokemon centers when you can just stroll in with a dialga or something else monstrously tall like that.
