Call of Duty: Call of the Fatherland or something like that. In which you played a nazi instead of an American soldier. We all agreed that no one would buy the game so we never sent the email in.

We pretty much had all the writing and levels done, just didn't follow through
I would buy that. There should be a lot more Nazi campaigns in World War 2 games.

I didn't know there were any.
I would too. I also want to play a game based on the Vietnam war.
Probably just because I can't, but still.

That would be cool actually, the main character could be a young German, brought up on propoganda and lies by the Nazi Government, then he goes to war and struggles with his conscience as he witnesses the horror of war and the way in which the nazis treated some of the occupied countries that he fights in... it could be kind of educational in a way 0.o
Did you steal our script when we weren't looking?

Yeah that sums up the plot we laid out. They guy with all the ideas was a huge war nut, especially the nazis. You could ask him anything about any battle and he'd be right 95% of the time, the other 5% he'd mess up a name.

I posted something pretty similar with cod4 MW, about how peopel in the middle east would view a game liek that. the response was suprisingly positive and not many ppl took it to heart. Also remember that 99.9% of the population aren't in fact terrorists. I'd guess the same would go for germans not being nazis. Germany is a pretty nice place really.

Just a day ago, I read a thread regarding "racism" and "gaming" and how much bullshit it really is. And here is a thread, somewhat supporting the segregation among different types of people again (nationalities this time). In the end, does it really matter? Or can we just say, "Hey, good hand-eye coordination." *thumbs up*

This is what I know about Germany on the topic:

1. They have an eXtreme rating system and a lot of games end up to be banned in Germany or suffer major alteration to remove gore . As examples I can remember Carma 2 and the last Rainbow six.

2. Contrary to popular belief a lot of german people liked ww 2 games. Early COD games and Brothers in arms sold heavily in Germany if I remember correctly.

My pop's dear friend was German and he liked Vodka. I think maybe all Germans like Vodka. My logic is amazing.
