The Skyhawk touched down in base and within seconds of the jets going off, the transport was surrounded by men in dark suits and medics, all of which had seemed to appear from no-where as they were not present in the base when the recruits had left. Victor and Marcus each took one of Akira's arms and walked her out of the ship to the waiting gurney. Once she was clear Victor suddenly became surrounded by the suited men, each of them demanding to know where the Plasma weapon was in increasingly loud voices, only to be silenced when Victor began to shout.
He in turn was silenced by a stern telling off in Russian by Kasai, though no-one could understand what was being said, it was all pretty clear and it was effective enough for Victor to bow his head and point the suits into the interior of the ship.
Victor shook his head in disgust and directed the recruits to follow him so they could forgo an arduous debrief and just get some R&R, Victor's soft side showing now that the adrenaline had worn off, leaving him looking tired and stressed, yet approachable.
And so they rested, for they certainly deserved it

Ethan
Ethan came running into the barracks, panting and out of breath, the others looking up from their pass-times and regarding him quizzically. Before he could speak however the answer came with the signature burst of freezing wind that signified the something arriving or departing from the hangar.
Ethan looked defeated as he motioned silently for them to follow as he ran back to the main hanger, the others joining him just in time to see the Skyhawk touch down and the ramp begin to descend.
Down the ramp first came a small woman, she was lithe, and generally wiry, sporting a pair of slightly dull looking, blue eyes. She seemed rather shy and generally exuded an air of uncertainty and nervousness, knowing X-Com however, it was probably justified.
The second to descend was also a woman, she did not appear much different from the first woman, apart from the fact that she seemed more toned, more ready than her compatriot. She also seemed more tense, more in control and more importantly she had a rank slide on the corner of her jacket.
It was the three chevron slide, similar to the slide present on both Victor and Marcus' sleeves.
Last but not least came a wheelchair, occupied by Akira, she was accompanied by a team of medics and without even giving her the chance to acknowledge the others they whisked her off to the medi-bay, one of the medics carried a large black back that emitted a mysterious, metallic clinking sound as it moved.
No matter, Ethan hung back and waitied for the others to acquaint themselves with the new-comers before he got involved.
Didn't want to seem TOO friendly.
