X3 Terran Conflict

Hello my fellow escapists, I have been looking at this game periodically and I am wondering if anyone has played this. Starting out with a stupid question is this thing an MMO? From what I have gathered it isnt however I keep seeing it compared to EVE online so I am not sure.

Second question is how is it? Like I said I read some things on it and it seems like it is exactly what I am looking for in a space sim flight thing. I am also rather taken aback that a game like this was recently made considering I thought the genre more or less died out a few years back.

Any information would be appreciated.

Edit: Okay I am completely sure that its not an mmo. However has anyone even heard of this..?

Yep I've heard of it, and played both X3 reunion and Terran Conflict. It is a so called 'simulation' game, not really a space flight game. But you're free to do whatever you want when you play the game.

At first it can be overwhelming, there is a vast amount of menus and commands you can use. However Terran conflict is more user friendly with the menus.
