Why hasn't anyone mentioned Braid yet...?
Because the topic creator has said he has already played/beat it.

I honestly have to wonder if you people even read the original post.

amazing time-manipulating puzzle game. Beautiful backgrounds, ingenious puzzles, and gorgeous music. Definitely a must-try.

On an unrelated note... Comic Jumper was a thoroughly funny experience for me. Take a look at the demo and I dare you not to laugh.

One more for good measure: not origianly an XBLA game, Beyond Good and Evil really stole my time. Worth a poke if you're into action/stealth games with a heart underneath it all.

One more time:
Braid
Comic Jumper
Beyond Good and evil HD

Beyond good and evil, Good game, though I experienced it first on GAMETAP... is that even still around?

I reccomend a bunch that have been listed already but figured more folks chiming in isn't going to change much so I tried to only list games I hadn't seen posted by other folks. (If limbo didn't wow you in the demo don't get it. it's very much like the demo.)

arkedo series 03 pixel very cute little side scrolling arcade game and very challenging or easy depending on how you play it. Plus dead cheap. The entire arkedo series is really neat look them up to see what mean

kingdom for kelflings It's a bit simmy but i find it relaxing and plus you get an acheivement for kicking the little bugges around which is always enjoyable.

blade kitten Despite the corny anime style and title character it's a very deep and fun little game. Plus it seems to be on sale often.

cloning clyde Cute and stupid, it's can get really challenging. Keep in mind any game ninja bee makes often seems t'be clones (no pun intended) of this game tho.

dash of destruction Should still be free and what's not to enjoy about being a huge blue t-rex eating trucks?

deathspank Check out yahtzee's opinion and take it with a grain of salt. It can be a lot of fun to play and it is really funny.

hexic think it's preinstalled if not it's a puzzle game and can be addictive.

ilomilo despite the cute style graphics it's got a great mellow soundtrack and can be controller smashingly hard at times. If you liked braid and the channge to the puzzles this is similar in terms of often simple answers that are hard to find.

penny arcade episode one and two. Definitely worth playing if you like rpgs, very funny and sardonic and a really good concept and execution.

the maw kinda kiddy looking but is still fun. rpgish.

undergarden again very mellow and relaxing game like ilomilo but can be really challenging. I think of those two games as perfect for if you want to challenge yer brain but still be able to relax and unwind while doing so.

tic it's kinda short but it's worth the price. has some decent replay value to it as well.

If you haven't yet tried psychonauts or raze's hel I really reccomend both of those. psychonauts yahtzee reviewed really well and raze's hell you can ind explanations and such online. Basically you get to kill teletubbies a hell of a lot.

Hopefully that gives you some ideas, you didn't really specify what sorts of games you like so I jus picked a random bunch.

Super meat boy definitely. I was going to suggest Bastion when I saw the title but I see you've already played it. It really is amazing.
I used to love Battlefield 1943 but I haven't been on it for over a year so it could be dead by now.

Bastion. Definitely Bastion.

It looks amazing, has a fantastic soundtrack, amazing voice actors, and really solid gameplay.
I concure with this statement. I also want to add that the story telling is very well executed, fresh and rather unique

Both of you must have missed the OP where I said the reason I was looking for XBLA games was because I got Bastion and was blown away.

Cthulhu Saves the World is pretty good. Technically it's XBLIG and not XBLA, but that's just splitting hairs. It's a good old school RPG with decent gameplay and quite funny writing. Best £2 I ever spent on a game.

'Splosion Man is also pretty fun, you can explode on command and use it to platform and defeat bosses and stuff. Don't know about Mrs 'Splosion Man but I've heard it's also pretty good.
