Do you know what I want? Pistons, new blocks, new Biomes, slightly larger map size (both laterially and vertically), and some way to add mods, skin textures and block textures to the game.

Tell me from that list which is and isnt possible for the 360 version...

As someone who frequents the XB360E Known Bugs page on the wiki, I can't believe that there are people still complaining about the world size. This was announced a long time ago, months before the game came out, and they kept any quips about "infinite worlds" out of their marketing material, so you have no excuse for not knowing this before you bought it. Furthermore, it's something anyone who knows jack about this game and its massive RAM usage would have seen coming, because the 360 didn't have top notch hardware even when it came out seven years ago.

Stop complaining and deal with it, people. Splitscreen, SMP that doesn't require you to buy a server, the simplified crafting, and playing it on a big TV from the comfort of your couch should more than make it up to you. These are the kinds of things we buy consoles for, after all.

Wow, it's only 1024x1024 in size? That's really terrible. I've built walls thousands of blocks long.

Why are people so gung-ho on split-screen? That was great in the 90s when you didn't really have a choice, but now?
Because playing splitscreen or Lan is far suprieror to playing over the internet. Costs far less in downloads, the atmosphere is far more effective (people are less likely to claim they will rape your mother when you can walk over and whack them in the head) and its generally a far more social experience.

I'd rather play four player splitscreen at a friends house, then have an eighty person team deathmatch over the internet.

Those who never grew up with it likely don't understand why four way co-op made games like GoldenEye or Perfect Dark have a far greater impact then a disposable CoD.
As a PC gamer I tend to play over the internet with my friends using a Teamspeak or Ventrilo server to communicate and I gotta say, it's definitely a social experience on par with splitscreen.

And I've only claimed to have slept with their mothers once so nyah!

Oh and about the download costs, if you get a halfway decent service provider you shouldn't have to worry on that front.

All of that is coming, im sure Mojang stated somewhere that they are increasing the map size (i think to the size of 4 maps, not exactly big, but a lot better than it is now)

See the downloadable content thing in the menu? The Mods are going there i think, but but im certain they are free. can't be sure though.
