It is a new controller, we've tried replacing the batteries, you can use it to turn the console on, and wired controllers work. I googled it and noticed this was a common problem but never found a usable solution. How can we fix this?

Does that come with the Xbox 360?GodsAndFishes said:Sometimes I find that it can take a gorram long time, but with many tries of pressing the sync button on the xbox and the controller it does eventually take.
Or if not, just get the play and charge kit so that you have a cable for it to use.

No, its about £15, which if you play the console quite a bit is worth it as you save loads on batteries.ithoughtiwascool said:Does that come with the Xbox 360?GodsAndFishes said:Sometimes I find that it can take a gorram long time, but with many tries of pressing the sync button on the xbox and the controller it does eventually take.
