I think that both technologies will do very, very well. But, to me, the first one to incorporate 3D stereoscopic Hi-Def video technology will be more appealing to me and would probably be a step up in immersiveness... And that will be the Playstation Move... So, if I had to guess, I'd say that the Move will perhaps do slightly better than the Kinect in sales or popularity. But either way, I think both the Move and Kinect will be incredibly successful and both will have their strengths and weaknesses. I also think that Sony will do well at attracting buyers by creating very cool, interesting hardware accessories to go along with Move games.

At launch, neither. Both are pretty pricey. Move has more 'hardcore' games, but almost all of them are better played with a normal controller, while Kinect is more 'causal' oriented at this time. DANCE CENTRAL IS SO AWESOME ZOMFGBBQ. I really like Dance Central. If it's bundled, I'll probably pick it up.

Down the line, I don't see the Move doing anything new. It'll be an alternate control scheme for games that are better played with a controller. MS, with their huge bags of money, has payed developers to make 'hardcore' exclusives for Kinect, which I can see being interesting. So I'd recommend waiting until at least Christmas

Move has a lot more potential. I mean you practically have a more precise Wiimote with a less precise Kinect attached.

That immediately allows for a ton more variety, you can do everything the Wii could and more, rather than just having a flail around in your huge living room.

I'll certainly say this, no matter which one you buy, buy it when more games come out that have those peripheral supports. I personally wouldn't get either, but if I had to pick one I'd go with Move, for two reasons. First, while I'm sure Microsoft could find a way to make the Kinect an integral part of "hardcore" or "non-casual/party" games, they don't seem to want to make games meant for "gamers" as they put it, so I personally don't see a promising library for Kinect. Second, the actual space requirments for the kinect would mean I'd have to constantly move stuff around whenever I would want to use it. But again, wait till some more games come out before you actually buy either one, because you never know what they may do with the technology.

Conclusion, Move before Kinect, but only because of how I see the Kinect, and that doesn't mean I'd buy the Move.
