Hey folks! For those of you who've got it so far, what're your thoughts on the 360 homepage update? Personally i think it's a little clunkier, but aesthetically nicer. Anything you're disappointed to lose/not see included?

Not to fond of the white, and the boxes going left and right rather than fading back and forth.

Other than that I like it, especially the avatars being less cartoony.

All my Avatar stuff is corrupted. All the things I bought, I have to pay for to get them back. I'm not stressing out too much about the stuff itself being gone, but the fact that I spent money, and am now no longer getting the things I purchased... makes me furious.

You can read my opinion in the already-existing poll here:

But yeah, it's okay, though I prefer the NXE (cascading panels, non-blinding colors, etc.) to this new iteration.

I liked the old system more. This dashboard is too much white, plus I liked the boxes stacked rather than in a big line.

My avatar is too tall, and my avatar marketplace pirate outfit, eye patch, Romona, and save Carmine tee are corrupted when i try to load them. on the plus side, my avatar looks like freaki King Logan now and the outfits i saved perfectly load my marketplace avatar wear.

It screwed up my Avatar Downloads, I have to go back to my regular stuff. That pissed me off
and my Netflix doesn't work properly, that also pisses me off.

So, it pisses me off I guess.

Its too bright and cornery. Plus I'd got used to the slightly cartoony look to my avatar and now that the proportions are more realisitic, plus I don't like the menu system for the avatars either...So in short:
I just don't like it.

The white seems a little... stark, I guess. And I was fond of the cartoony look to the previous avatars.
Most of my problems with it will just be a case of getting used to the new system, I guess.

Meh... Almost nothing actually changed, it just made everything... white.
Oh and most of my avatar rewards are corrupted, so that pisses me off.

I couldn't even download it. Apparently Microsoft doesn't want me to experience their "genius". Ah well, Fable 3 is a little more fun when not being bothered by all my friends.

I don't like it, I don't want my 360 looking like my Wii. White is the wii's coloration, black is the playstation's, and green was always the xbox's coloration.

I know all companies want to be nintendo in this era, but I dont want my 360 crapping out on several key features (netflix, avatar marketplace, ect) just so they can feel better about themselves.

The huge Silver Ball of Doom the old boot animation had is now merely a tiny prop for the Flirty Floating Green Ribbon to hide behind. T_T

My Avatar Awards have a little exclamation mark where they used to be in the Avatar Editor, and can't be selected, but as long as I don't change my avatar they seem to keep showing up.

The KXE UI is much whiter than I'm used to, but other than that isn't that bad. It's not too white, just white as a major theme. Flatter, as well; one'd think the theme for the Xbox *360* would be roundness (BLADES, anyone?), but I suppose for Kinect flat is the new round.

ESPN3 makes for a nice addition, but with my college's internet connection of fail, I can't stream worth anything. Still, that's hardly Msft's fault, except there's no documented way to forcibly back off to SD quality when HD isn't working right.

There seem to be some website issues, especially if you have an XNA Creators Club or AppHub subscription, but those appear to be being resolved, and they have no effect on anything on the console.

One thing I haven't tried is pulling all storage devices. When upgrading from Blades to NXE, some sort of storage device was required, or else the update wouldn't apply cleanly, but once the update was complete you could pull all storage any things would work just fine. I read online that KXE will give an error message if it boots on a console without a storage device, but that might only apply to the 360 S, and not the 360 Original.

One final note: Convection is out. The Microsoft-wide 2010/2011 logotype is in. That is all.
